★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The views location, and atmosphere are beautiful! The service was very poor. I'm on crutches and no one helped open the door even though it sticks and is quite tough to open, took 20min just to come get our drink order, got those soon after, then were rushed to order or mains. We hardly got checked on the whole time. There we're no vegetarian mains at all. The food tasted good but was very simple for the price. Not a great experience compared to the first time going there a few years ago.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently moved to the area and tried out the patio today with my family.
Simply put, spectacular food, spectacular views and spectacular service.
We had my father with us who is not as mobile as he used to be and the hostess and waitress were very accommodating. Our lunches and desserts were awesome and well worth it. We are looking forward to going for dinner soon.
There is clearly a focused vision and passion for food and service.

Despite the ratings about the meals being overpriced we wanted to try this restaurant for our wedding anniversary.
We had reserved a nice table on the patio, on the water side, as promised by the person who took our reservation. However, when we arrived, we were given a table on the restaurant side. We would have appreciated more transparency from the hostess about this. Maybe this is not as important for everyone, but for us it makes a difference. We ended up cancelling our reservation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had booked an appointment with the Fitness Centre as a trial to check out the club. I arrived at 0845hrs as requested and no one was their to greet me. The one person, in the rather small club, had no idea either. When one is contemplating tossing down $1500 a year for a membership, one would expect and appreciate better customer service. A big boo from this guy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family is a huge fan of Olivea and Riva. We were very excited to learn that the owners now owned another one of our favourite restaurants (mostly due to the location and atmosphere). Unfortunately, we were left very disappointed. The new menu is incredibly limited. While the food tasted very good, the variety on the plate (specifically vegetables) was truly disappointing. Additionally, my father in law had 2 full drinks spilled in his lap (we understand accidents happen) but we were not given any kind of compensation for this. We had a large party, ordered two bottles of wine as well as other beverages (on top of 9 meals and an appetizer) and felt there was room in the bill to at least take care of my father in law’s meal to make up for the inconvenience. We can only hope that a review of the menu offerings occurs and some more variety is introduced to improve the experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Ivy has been a favorite of my family for years. Unfortunately not anymore. The new menu is incredibly expensive for mediocre food, and the service was terrible when we were there for lunch. Nothing on the lunch menu to share for the table, unless you want a $95 seafood tower. We also used to go just for the home made ice cream at the Coach House, but it was just generic ice cream last year. Long time customers that are super disappointed and likely won't be back. Hopefully it gets better? 2 stars for the view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere and great experience during a Saturday brunch. The restaurant is not open regularly right now, but I hope they can keep those events going. It was a brunch buffet and every item was delicious. They also have Friday dinner with a table d'hôte prix fixe. I would recommend either event for special occasions.
