B	Bill Allen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place. It was recommended by a friend and after an hours drive in a beautiful day it got better the second we set foot in here. The service by James was friendly, prompt and very relaxed. I wish it was my local instead of an hours drive, but we will definitely be returning any chance we get. And the beer... delicious. I only tried one as it was exactly the kind of beer I love. Apps were fantastic too. I know it sounds like I am fawning, but rightfully so. I love this place. I grew up in Toronto and had never been to Port Hope. What a beautiful town it is. I was very surprised. The brewery is across the street from a park that runs along a gorgeous river. Perfect for a walk after this great pub. Thanks, Ganny. ( new nickname) ?

It was a popular pick and thankfully they were able to accommodate us inside (we were a big group of 9 and they could have easily turned us away - instead they were so friendly and accommodating). Despite being a busy weekend they have well trained, very friendly staff that kept up. For lunch I had the butter chicken wrap. It was delicious! The salad was a unique coleslaw, chickpea, and melon that I took a chance on and I was sooooo glad I did. It was delicious. For drinks, High Wire blueberry ale and Easy Times mexican lager were the favourites of our group. It was a great lunch spot and I highly recommend trying it out.
G	Guenther Moeller on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This terrific new brew pub is certainly worth a visit! Its brewed-on-site beer list includes lagers, pilsners, sites and ales. Everyone has a favourite pint; mine was a New England style IPA called Hazy Rapids. The menu is awesome, compliments of "Chef Z". It is not your traditional pub food, which is a good thing. It includes Poké Bowls, Indian and Asian-flavoured dishes, as well a few pork and beef dishes. My partner had a Bangkok Rump Steak that came with a to-die-for sauce, while I had an absolutely delicious Jerk Chicken Bowl. Service is great and cheerful. Jack went through all of the beer options with us. If course I first had to try a flight of beer before settling on an IPA. Current Covid protocols are applicable and were followed by staff and customers. Pop in! You'll love it! And don't forget to take home an 8-pack of your favourite pint.

The brewery is riverside and has a gorgeous rooftop patio with a sunset view (we got a sneak peak, but it's officially open in the Spring). The beer selection includes both GBC's tasty craft beers, as well as a few other Ontario craft brews. I really enjoyed Chef Z's food as well. I had the pork dish and it was unreal! It's neat that the two companies have collaborated, so that you can have amazing craft beer and tasty food in one spot. The service was fast and the staff were super friendly even though it was crazy busy. Local brothers and co-owners, Dave and Steve are obviously passionate about beer and creating an experience and decor that feels local and cool (the canoe, the themed flight boards, etc.) I think this is going to become a regular hangout spot for us.

Modern yet so many nods to the river and nature and all it entails. Somehow these guys pulled off a pretty awesome brewery w killer food that is worth detouring off the 401 for!!! These guys went out of their way to accommodate us too. Will be back, again and again!

H	Harmeet Singh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited here first time here and to be honest it was not good experience with food here, because I ordered chicken curry and they put too much potatoes in that cuisines and quantity of chicken was very very less, they also gave very little discount on total bill which was also very less. I also ordered the beer, it was good and price was also not that much expensive. Customer service and atmosphere was nice here, you will get dine in, dine out and dine on the top of the roof with beautiful scenery which is great thing here.
