★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pasta, risotto and muscles were fantastic dishes. The flavors were tasty, and the portions were generous. They really know how to put together their dishes. Italian isn't even my usual palette, but I would revisit this gem of a place in a heart beat, which I intend on doing with more friends, and show them what a great place I discovered!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okay I’ve lived in many different cities and had lots of traditional and restaurant style Italian food… this place wins over almost any Italian restaurant I’ve been to yet. It’s a first choice for me in the warmer months when you can sit on the patio by the water. The service is excellent as well. If you split a meal they go out of their way to serve you separately which is very kind. I generally order a number of items and share amongst the table. I’ve tried almost everything here and there’s not one thing I wouldn’t recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped over in Port Hope this week and had such a great time dining at Trattoria Gusto. We went back for a 2nd dinner while visiting and highly recommend it! We loved every dish and truly enjoyed the duck wings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dinner for my parents in laws 45th anniversary ♡ all dishes were very good, presentation and taste...I had the rib eye with mashed spuds and rapini...pasta dishes were huge meatballs, and a seafood medley, prawn risotto and the fish...starters were the bruchetta and cheese platter...very nice, and a couple of bottles of reisling♡ desert was the tiramisu and chocolate ganche cake. Very lovely atmosphere not too loud but a busy sat night...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our new favourite local place now. Great food, staff & atmosphere.
I really avoid giving a 5 star score... especially on a first visit...and to be fair, this wasn't our first visit. It won't be the last either.
It's not inexpensive, but if an upscale casual experience is what you're after, you should not be disappointed.
We did not love their deserts but we should not have ordered it anyway. One of their awesome drinks would have been a better choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for dinner on a Friday night and we were not disappointed. The carbonara was one of the best I’ve ever had. The burrata was out of this world. Make reservations because there’s always people coming in and out. I can totally see why - the food and ambiance are great. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends and family who are travelling to the area.
