Although he was not my doctor prior to this, he was incredibly thorough, kind, attentive and went above and beyond in every way. I highly recommend Dr. Alexander and the FYidoctors Clinic. Can't give enough stars to accurately reflect my satisfaction with Dr. Alexander.

I was at a laser eye consultation and after I left my eye would not stop watering and the pain became unbearable. I was driving home from work and stopped at FYI in Sherwood Park and spoke to Rita but they were completely full for the day. She spoke to Dr Alexander on my behalf and he personally called me at home and said he would stay late and see me after hours that day.Thank goodness, because I had a bad abrasion on my cornea from one of the tests that I had done that morning at the laser surgery consultation. He fixed me up patched my eye and then asked me to come in the next day before his shift started again to see how I was doing. At that next morning appointment he also found that I had angle closure glaucoma in one eye. And is now sending me to a specialist. If left unnoticed things could have been very bad. So thankful for him taking the time to see me and get me out of pain and to go above and beyond his regular work day. Top notch Doctor right there!!

He is not only super funny and kind, but also extremely knowledgable and wants to make sure his patients understand their eyes and eyesight. The staff here are also fantastic and glasses are a great price as well. They also do a great job at following and going beyond the Covid-19 protocols set by AHS.

Dr. Jason Alexander was very thorough and patient during the eye exam, I felt that my concerns and questions were all addressed in the most pleasant manner. I was then introduced to Jenette, who floored me with her expertise, professionalism, and fantastic advice that I don't think I could have gotten anywhere else. Didn't feel rushed or pressured and had myself THE nicest experience purchasing new frames and lenses. Lastly, there were some issues with my glasses arriving late from manufacturing facility, but Jenette stayed on top of things, kept me updated, and made sure that I felt well compensated for the extra trouble by offering me a future discount which I'm sure I'll apply shortly. Recommending this to location to my friends, family, and to any wise and value minded reader. You won't be disappointed with the above and beyond excellent service from either Dr. Alexander or Jenette.
G	Gerry Letendre on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I appreciate the thorough exam that I received. I always feel guilty if I do not buy glasses there so this time I thought I would even though they cost more. Very friendly service when I was being suggested different glasses but I did not appreciate the service when I picked up my glasses. The woman who was assisting me made me feel like I was wasting her time and didn't seem to want to fit them on me properly. I I will not purchase glasses here again.

They offer such a wide variety of styles and high end frames. The whole experience at FYI is positive and fun from the optometrist to optician to front reception. Highly recommend FYI doctors!!!

Every person who works there between the reception, assistants and Optomotrist are so kind and sweet. They make the experience for kids fun and exciting. My girls loved the “games” they played and the doctors they had. I would recommend to anyone with children. Thank you!

Otherwise I would not go to this location due to the incredibly rude women who work at the reception. I always walk in with a positive attitude and demeanor, but the staff speak in such a condescending manner to me and treat me like I am a problem rather than a client/customer every time I visit. I would give 1 star if it wasn't for the optometrists.
