No change rooms mean you're stuck in an endless, buy/try on/return, get more/try on/return.... all the while, it's impossible to match the exact price and they can only give you 2 bucks back. It's all for a good cause, but I feel ripped off as a consumer in this endless cycle of getting ripped off, I very much dislike it. After the cycle ends, I'll never go back.

I’m conflicted. I love thrifting, and value village is one of my favourites in terms of selection - there’s always a lot of stock, it’s organized better than most stores, and there’s usually higher quality items. However, lately prices have been ridiculous. I almost never buy clothes anymore, because the prices are equal to or higher than what it would cost to buy it new. This also includes what other reviews mention - dollar store items priced way higher than they’d cost new… I’m still able to find decent deals on knickknacks and household items, and sometimes menswear, so I shop here periodically. But I just can’t afford to go as often as I used to. The one area i’d mention for the best deals would be the baby section, where you can fill a bag with whatever you can fit, priced per bag. It can be hit or miss with what’s there, but I’ve paid $4 for a bag with zara/carhartt/etc. Additionally, as other reviews have mentioned, they completely removed the fitting rooms. And as well all know with thrifting, being able to try on is essential (more so than regular stores, since in another store you can gauge how that brand usually fits). So far, I haven’t had any employees try to stop me from trying on pants over my shorts/leggings or putting a sweater on over whatever i’m wearing, so my advice would be to wear short and tight clothes you can try stuff on over. If they start policing people trying things on in the aisles, I won’t be shopping here at all anymore, at least not for clothes.

From formal designer dresses I wear on cruises to jeans I wear everyday to work! I have also found jewelry, incredible art. Lots of fun to shop but I miss the coupons!

What the heck?! Value village believes they are a fancy department store now. Insane prices! I get inflation and import costs for other companies but all of their inventory is donated. I used to love shopping here but I can find less expensive things brand new at other stores. I won't shop at any Value Village, they have all done the same thing with their prices.

Prices are extremely high, if your looking for a deal go somewhere else. They also took away the change rooms and do not allow you to return anything only exchange. This store has really gone downhill-only positive is the store is well kept and clean!

This is how greedy the CEO's or owners of Value Village are. They don't even try to hide it. I saw a mug at VV for 5.99$ that I saw at Walmart for 1.99$. they charge more than dollar store prices for literal dollar store items. I saw Used boots for 90$ that were worn and ripped. I wish people would stop donating to VV. Your items are better off with other local charities/thrift stores where they can be fairly sold/redistributed to people who are in need/ can't afford to buy all new items and the money made goes to directly supporting local causes .

Normally don't shop at Value Village but went to this location with a friend. It's a smaller store which makes browsing manageable. I wasn't impressed with the selection of clothing items; lots of outdated styles, graphic t-shirts with random writing on them (think bachelor party and hockey), etc. No change rooms period. They aren't even closed, they've been fully removed from the store. We had to hide in the back of the store to try stuff on and sneak into the bathroom to try on shirts. I did manage to find a handful of cute tops, but when I was putting them back on the hangers to take up to the front, I noticed big stains on two of them. I don't know why those ever ended up on the sales floor to begin with. I also saw jeans on the rack that had paint and dirt on them; they looked like work pants. A button fell off one of the things I did want to buy, and I still bought it because it's easy enough to sew back on. But I was really disappointed that so many poor quality items were for sale. Prices are higher than other thrift stores (Example, $17 for a pair of regular brand jeans). Wouldn't return.

First off you should understand that Value Village is a retail business. Even though Value Village takes donations they do not provide any savings on the merchandise they sell. The store sells second hand clothing and household items and nick nacks. The stuff is somewhat expensive for what it is. The store is well lit and clean. For better value my suggestion is go to Goodwill and plus Goodwill is an actual charity.
