He is very personable and friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience. The van was super comfortable and suited all of our needs. We got the kitchen kit and it had all the necessities. We got the bedding kit too and it would’ve been more comfortable if it came with 1 more blanket but it was still really nice. Overall we had a great experience and highly recommend!

E	Eric Hoffmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TL;DR—Super friendly and helpful team, great experience in the Canadian Rockies. We had booked a Big Sur campervan from September 16 to October 10, 2021. Pick up and drop off were straightforward. We thought it was great that Aaron, the hub manager, took time for us to give us helpful tips and personal recommendations! About the campervan but not least about the National Parks and Provincial Parks, according to our itinerary. The free wifi was also very convenient as we arrived in Canada by plane just before. The Big Sur was the perfect size for us and had enough storage space for our stuff. We traveled with two 80 liter trekking backpacks, as we were camping in the backcountry among other things, and also with two 36 liter hiking backpacks and a medium sized suitcase. Most of it found space in the second row of seats, while we had stowed individual items in the drawers in the back of the campervan. The electric heater proved to be a brilliant recommendation from Aaron during our trip to have a little more comfort now and then—electric hookup at a campground provided. But even without additional heating, the nights were quite okay with enough sheets and clothes. By the way, since the bed takes up the entire width of the campervan, this provides enough space for two persons. We had no breakdowns or other problems during our adventure. In summary: Our Big Sur Campervan was a reliable and comfortable vehicle in a reasonable size. (Especially in relation to the sometimes huge RVs at campgrounds!). In short, we highly recommend Escape Campervans in Calgary and Aaron and his team! ?

Aaron at the Calgary location very kindly came in on his day off to let us look at the van and figure out where our baby could safely sleep. We have been really happy with the van so far on our trip, and everything is working great! The biggest issue has been that the blinds don't block out enough light for a baby to nap in the day, but we have easily fixed that with a few garbage bags over the windows. Camping with a baby is not for the faint of heart, but if you're up for the adventure an Escape camper van is a good option! Overall we have been really happy with the experience, and Aaron will go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need.

We've used Escape 4 times in the past, all from different depots, and I can say, the Calgary Depot is one of the best and Aaron, the GM of this location, is AMAZING! Aaron helped my fiancée and I get set up with our campervan and gave us really great tips and places to visit in Banff. He was super patient, kind, and communicated with us in a very mindful manner, which I always appreciate. Don't hesitate, rent with Escape Campervans and get out there!

After a few days we then turned around and dropped our van off in the same location we picked it up from. We travelled during february and as you can imagine it gets pretty cold during winter times. However, Aaron (Hub Manager in Calgary) did an amazing job in briefing us for our trip. So dont worry about doing a trip in winter it works exceptionally well (you should definitely get the heater though). In general the experience was great and at the end of our trip Aaron even dropped us of in the city center and showed us arround Calgary. True Canadian kindness.

So good we decided to book with Escape Campervans for a second year to explore the west coast of Canada. Each van was unique and beautifully painted and equipped with everything we needed for our adventure. The van was spacious and comfortable, and even managed to fit four of us to sleep inside. Aaron and staff were very kind and accommodating throughout the trip and quick to respond to any of our needs. I would definitely recommend booking with Escape Campervans for your next road trip!
