s	sienna sheppard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is very aesthetically appealing, and the staff are wonderful. However, the noise was a massive issue. The first night all we could hear was a group of people being extremely loud, which I'm assuming was coming from the restaurant below. The noise continued until about 11 o'clock. The second night we could hear someone dry heaving (extremely loud I must add) from up the hall. Ontop of that, any person talking in the hallway would disrupt you as the rooms/doors are not sound proof at all. The third night a group of ladies checked in to a room on our floor and were ridiculously loud all night. The hotel provided earplugs, but they were not enough. For this hotel to strive it needs to figure out a better solution to the noise. The rooms also had no safe.
A	Andrew Stephenson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location. Easy to find and in the heart of it all. Building has a modern front desk and beautiful on-site restaurant. The room we stayed in was updated but very odd. Drop ceiling in a hotel room is very outdated. The spa also had drop ceiling which one would think would cause issues with the humidity. The dry sauna was nice. Hot tub only had half the jets working properly. The deal found on the price got us here and it was overall worth it. The building is old and is in desperate need of soundproofing.

However, they do provide earplugs to the rooms so that’s some consolation! And the jacuzzi and sauna were closed due to COVID (understandable!) overall, we had a great, affordable stay

We had dinner at Farm&Fire and breakfast at Good Earth - both were fantastic experiences, to be improved perhaps only by a discount coupon for hotel guests? The service was great, parking underground was convenient and affordable ($5) and the large hot tub was a nice bonus for the kids. Highly recommend this stay!

When laying the hotel know about the change, they immediately offered to refund me for the day that was missed and were so kind and accommodating! We had such an amazing stay and their heated parking garage made it even better! Definitely returning next time I visit Banff ?
C	Chao Zheng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been staying at Elk+Ave Hotel twice already. It is a great hotel: 1. Great location. Right in the centre of Banff town. 2. Great restaurant downstairs. A coffee shop is in the building as well. 3. In-door parking for $5. This is great when it is -30 degrees outside. 4. Great Staff. On our recent trip, there was lots of cancellations. The staff noticed we were family of three, and then gave us a bigger room instead. 5. Good heating. Lots of hotels has the heated air, which is noisy and makes the room really dry. This hotel has the old baseboard heaters which are quiet.

Location, location, location… this place is perfectly locating on Banff Avenue, just off the main strip of restaurants/shops, and conveniently next to a grocery store. We booked a Loft, which was very spacious (two levels, with a large table, and seating area on the first floor, and two beds on the second floor). The room had windows on two different sides, which gave us incredible views of several different mountains. Although there is no kitchen, the room did include a mini-fridge. The jacuzzi area is very small, but hit the spot perfectly after a day of hiking. Would definitely recommend this place.
D	Dawn Valkara Wright on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms: Clean, neat and organized. Very modern look to them, bathroom was nice little cramped, but decent. There wasn't a fan in our bathroom, so it got a little foggy after a shower, but we still enjoyed it. No view from the window, but we keep the blinds closed so it didn't matter to us. Service: Very polite front desk service, kind and gave us all needed information immediately. Answered our questions fast and efficiently. Location: Right on the main drag of Banff so it's close to everything. Had a restaurant/bar attached to the hotel so it had a very spacious front lobby with great smells and sounds. Parking was in the back no complaints there. All in all fantastic stay, great people and lovely hotel. Would 100% recommend to anyone else coming to Banff. They also had a Ski event happening in the lobby and had designated ski and snowboard lockers they you could access to safely store your gear.
