β β β β β Went there to notarize a document. Rushed me out the door as quickly as possible in a rude and unprofessional manor. Rude when I asked to borrow a pen, she was :" jeez, you surely are prepared" roller her eyes at me. Will not go back. The worst notary i have ever met.

β β β β β I've gone to Elisabeth on multiple occassions (transfer documents after purchasing a home, documents notarized, initiating power of attorney) and I've always found her to be very professional and approachable. She takes her time with you, explaining everything you're signing. I will continue to use her even though there are other notaries closer to my home.

β β β β β Visited the office twice because of its location. Elisabeth Rechsteiner, an old lady with short straight hair was extremely rude and welcome to her clients. (Pardon my subjective judgement but that was how I felt.) I understand that Notary Public is not a restaurant or retail store where it targets at customer service, yet seriously, she was plain mean.
Last time I went as a walk-in client, she claimed that she was going away on her vacation so she wanted to leave her office before 11 am in the morning so she would only take me if it could be done quickly. When she noticed that there was something missing from my collected documents (after 1 second), she quickly told me to leave because she could not help me now and she wanted to leave before 11am. (YES!! She emphasized the fact that she really wanted to leave before 11am again.) I asked her whether there would be another person available to help me if I could come back after 10 min and then she just told me to go to other offices around Metro area, because SHE WILL NOT BE HERE AFTER 11 AM.
There was nothing wrong with Mrs. Rechsteiner/ Ms. Rechsteiner for wanting to leave for her planned vacation so bad. I totally understood and respected that. Yet, only if she could converse with her clients with a more general tone instead of a unwelcome voice revealing how badly she wants YOU to leave her office ASAP !!

β β β β β I was going to choose a lawyer or notary to have a will done and a friend referred me to Elisabeth. I found Elisabeth to be very professional, thorough and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and offered some helpful advice and suggestions. The service she provides is reasonably priced and I would recommend her to family and friends.

β β β β β Elisabeth is the Gold Standard of Notaries. I needed my will updated and I was so impressed by Elisabeth's thorough approach. She was personable and took all the time necessary to explain the process to update a will. She didn't hesitate to help me understand legal aspects of Contracts that confused me and was very clear in her explanations.
While reviewing the information she needed to complete the Will, Elisabeth used her wealth of knowledge to point out several aspects of Estate concerns I had not considered, that required further research on my part if I was to fulfill my wishes for the updated will.
