She was very calm, friendly, and helpful. Not only did she help me sort through my emotions and motivations, she also gave me practical tools and advice on how to face the situation I was in.

Practicing the S.L.E.P.T. model provided me with the positive outlook I needed to resolve my problems and feelings of depression. She offered a perspective that helped me to genuinely accept my circumstances. I had never participated in counselling over the phone before and found it to be very organized and effective. I would highly recommend her services!

The accident caused me lots of anxiety including sleeping problem, scared about driving, worrying about my job and family income because of personal time off, etc. Bessie was very friendly and analyzed all the issues one by one with patience and professional skills. She helped me relax during counselling as well as methods to practise at home. I appreciate for Bessie's help and highly recommend her services.

I’ve seen Bessie since 2019 and I feel more whole as a person. Initially, I saw her often to deal with my immediate stress regarding work, but now I see her every couple months for a tune up. She checks all the boxes on being able to relate to me- she understands: - Chinese cultural family dynamics - Being a mom - Problems that arise from being my age (25-35) - Stress of overwork - Resolving childhood trauma She’s able to help me with stressful transitions in my life, and help me think of my problems from multiple point of views. She’s able to break down my thoughts and teach me ways to relax and conquer my problems on my own before I spiral (using CBT, SIR, behaviour experiments, meditation methods, etc). With these tools I feel more empowered and I would definitely recommend anyone that’s looking for counselling to see Bessie.
