No payment is required when attending our Clinic, however, you must register your license plate with reception to receive complementary parking. The parking lots are independently operated and if you pay for parking we are unable to reimburse you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the unfortunate experience dealing with Roberta Ficaccio via phone when requesting accommodation to bring my breastfed infant to an ultrasound appointment. EFW currently allows a support person at ultrasounds but no minors. Given my situation, I was requesting to bring my baby instead of a support adult. I was told no because my baby cannot wear a mask (although no governing body has ever recommended infants to wear a mask). Asking to bring a breastfed infant who spends 24/7 instead of an adult support person doesn’t feel unreasonable. Given that this is a protected human right, their policy can’t supersede it. Roberta offered to “accommodate” by rescheduling the ultrasound to when I no longer have a breastfed baby. Anyone with even a vague under of pregnancy and the time sensitivity of something like a dating ultrasound would know this is not accommodating at all. I was told my baby poses too much risks to their staff (lol). For someone who works at a maternal fetal medicine centre, Roberta demonstrated an alarming lack of concern for maternal rights and infant care. I’m assuming she is not a mother (this sounds like it’s for the best) but an odd line of work to choose if you wish to go out of your way to be unaccommodating to mothers. I then spoke with the Alberta Human Rights commission who said that yes, this is indeed a human rights violation based on family status. Based on this experience, I will be filing a complaint with the commission. Honestly, very sad to think any woman would be so against something like this. Not only did Roberta demonstrate a stunning lack of interpersonal skills, but little understanding of covid risks or concern for how th with policies relate to human rights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to EFW at veterans PI several times over the past 3 years for various procedures. The service I have received has been outstanding. Everyone from the the time I arrive at the reception and any procedures done by others is always friendly and professional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to the Veterans Place location in NW Calgary several times each year for cortisone injections. These injections help me manage my pain caused by severe arthritis.
All the staff and the Dr’s here are kind, considerate, and extremely knowledgeable. The Dr’s are so amazing that my injections are relatively painless and they help considerably to alleviate my pain.
I had gone elsewhere years ago and the injections were so painful that I swore I would NEVER again have another Cortisone injection. However, when my pain was no longer tolerable my family Dr referred me to this location and I haven’t looked back since!

I sincerely appreciate one of the RT Sam for extra effort to capture our baby's image the best she can even though baby is facing my back, it's a pure joy to see our baby boy. Frontdesk staff Trisha for being so nice, she gave us extra copy of baby's printed US, it means so much to me and my husband. And of course, to the male doctor I hope I can remember his name next time, I remember his kind words and empathy every time he explains the results to us. I have been doing my ultrasound here since my 1st trimester, we always have a pleasant experience. Kudos!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well laid out building. Awesome staff. Open space throughout. This makes us feel less anxious during waiting time for tests.
The staff are very courteous, quick, and to the point. The bonus is free parking. Park your vehicle, head up to reception, register your vehicle, and done. No payment needed.
I think all clinics and radiology buildings should maintain such standards.

I came for an ultrasound to rule out an ectopic pregnancy, and was met with great compassion from the technician and the doctor who came to explain what he saw on my scan and ease my mind so I didn’t have to wait a until my doctor received the results to find out. I am grateful for their kindness. They were a little late in getting me back, but it wasn’t long. The front desk was great for the check in process as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was hesitant to go to EFW Radiology since I had read a number of bad reviews and also heard some in person accounts of bad service overall. However my appointment couldn’t have gone better.
I was able to easily navigate to the clinic and was helped right away at reception. A nurse was prompt to measure my blood pressure prior to my ultrasound and I was taken into the exam room at the appointment time.
My technician was lovely, she explained everything and was kind and courteous. The doctor came in a few minutes after and explained the results and was friendly.
Overall it was a pleasant experience and the facility is very nice and clean. I would recommend this location for ultrasounds.
