Very rude and poor service. No call back for sometime had to leave multiple messages. When finally called back the lady on the phone made it feel I was a inconvenient for calling, when I confirmed my appointment and location was very unprofessional. Haven't even went for my appointment yet and not looking forward to it. If you don't like your job find another professional.

Definitely would not recommend Regional Fertility Program for treatment. The investigation was completed with Dr. O’Keane, which was my only good experience with the clinic - very thorough and educational. When I switched to the treatment side, the nurses took over the coordination/ management/ planning of care and this is where the problems began. What used to be a call back within a couple of hours (summer/fall of 2019) is now taking multiple days (Mar-Aug 2021). Information I have received from nursing staff has been inconsistent and/or contradicting to what the doctors have told me, what other nurses have told me or what pharmacists have told me. (READ get everything in writing as you will always be wrong). What was supposed to be my most recent cycle, ended up being cancelled as the nurse returned my call 3 days after it was placed – the day I was supposed to start medication. She informed me that because the nursing team missed several things during the set-up process, I wouldn’t be able to proceed anyways. When I began questioning why things were missed as I had spent more than 6 weeks setting up this cycle, this nurse didn’t have an answer and told me a supervisor would call me back. I finally got a call back from the business manager 4 days later who bluntly told me that my money was being refunded, fill out a form and they would forward my chart at no cost before hanging up on me. I had no chance to speak or ask questions. Instead of acknowledging the communication breakdown and setting up another cycle, I was told to go elsewhere. With how quickly and abruptly they terminated my care, it has left me wondering if there was more missed on my chart than what I know.

I wish I can give separate reviews for doctors and nurses. My doctor was great (Dr.Wong), he was prompt, informative nad helpful. Whereas, nurses are different. Some of nurses working in this clinic should be fired. Patients here goes through stressful treatment and the nurses add addtional burden to patients by being ignorant/arrogant and blaming them for any mistakes. My wife sobbed couplel times now after having conversations with the nurse as they are blaming my wife for everything. Are we supposed to know everything when we call in? You guys dont even pick up the phone when we have questions. Eventhough we ask questions, your answers are so condescending.

This is the worst patient care I have ever witnessed and experienced by any medical institute across Canada. it's extremely unfortunate that options are limited in Alberta for fertility treatment as this place is more focused on their bottom line then helping patients. If you're serious about fertility treatment then I would honestly start to look at out of country private treatment options.

Extremely bad service. My and my husband booked a free consultation with Dr. Serma Scott. She wrote us a few tests without looking at our old reports. She said, "You guys are only on a 15 minutes consultation". Anyways, we got the tests done, doctor called us and without describing any medical problem properly, she said i would recommend IUI and anurse will call you shortly to discuss the details. No proper treatment was planned. Dr. Scott didn't seem to care much. We decided to go for the 2nd opioion since we were not satisfied. When I requested to release my reports, the receptionist never replied back to me till today. Not recommended at all.

I personally don't understand most of the negative reviews. I am a current patient of Dr. Min, who is wonderful. My husband and I chose to do IVF after struggling for years with infertility and trying the clinic in Edmonton, closer to where we live. We decided to travel to Calgary for treatment with RFP. They are not perfect, and some of the doctors could use a bit better attitudes but to me, that does not affect treatment. During the lead up to egg retrieval, I saw many doctors during my monitoring appointments, which is how it goes, but I also saw my regular doctor fairly often. Dr. Min suggested a frozen transfer as I had risks involved with my treatment, which was fine. The first transfer ended up with a pregnancy, however it resulted in a stillbirth. The entire clinic, especially Dr. Min was very empathetic and has worked with me on all the requirements I, and my body needed before we could try again. They even went as far as setting up a surgery for me to be performed by Dr. O'Keane since my regular OB didn't do the procedure. We have had 3 transfers since, and though none have been positive yet, Dr. Min has made time for me after each one to discuss the results and plan forward. I feel confident that we will get there one day, and even if we don't, I will not blame the clinic as they have, and continue to do everything they can for me.

I just completed an IVF cycle. The doctors were prompt through the monitoring processes, and it felt like a well oiled machine. By the time I was finished with the blood draws, the other nurse was ready to take me to the ultrasound. My retrieval nurses were wonderful, and the doctor explained everything. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, tbh. And the embryologist Marty, he was absolutely phenomenal. His daily phone calls with updates, and explanations was so great to have!!! However, once I got a positive beta, this is where things have fallen off. I felt like I was kicked out of their care. I was not sent for repeat beta, even though I asked for it. I was told to call my local doctor. My area takes weeks to get in to see local doctors, so it was a struggle to get booked in for the ultrasound they told me I needed - but wouldn't book themselves. I've experienced a ton of anxiety post - positive. And yet, zero care from them on this. I've been to a couple clinics, and I'm part of numerous groups in the infertility community, and they're the only ones who operate this way. Absolutely disappointing. And then they had the audacity to ask for a copy of my ultrasound "for their records", which I have declined. Fair warning to anyone going through treatment. The second you get a positive, there is absolutely zero follow up. So perhaps have an appointment booked with your local doctor for around the time you're expecting a beta so there aren't any delays. And don't expect them to check in on you afterwards. I'd have given 5 stars if not for this.

Incredibly helpful, informative, and they do their absolute best to get back to you in a timely manner. I was anxious when I read all the reviews before I came here, but they’ve been great. The main thing is to understand how their communication works - if you call them, you will automatically get their voicemail. Then they triage your message and get back to you in the order of urgency of each call (or at least this is how it was explained to me). This means you may be waiting a wee while to hear back from them, but they have always gotten back to me within the day that I called (or the day after if I call after hours). All of the nurses, doctors, receptionists and pharmacists have been compassionate, polite and helpful.
