I've never dealt with such unprofessional people. They won't honor warranties, they won't honor their customers. It's best to stay clear of them and bring your money and business elsewhere. I will make an effort to turn my many scooter using friends away from this place in the future unless they right their wrongs.

Bad place. They sold me a bike teling me a have over a month warranty. it broke 1week after. The battery was refurbished by em with weak battery instead of replaced by original warranty. It broke after 5 days again. They say theyl fix it with original warranty as last time they fix it emself so I dont have to wait a month. So now they call me say they test it it work great, I go there to pick it up from warranty & they want me to pay over 500$ for the fix? Wich they first say well send it to warranty. Now they wont give my bike unless they keep that real battery and they would give me back the first one they fix emself. Telling me it might catch on fire if I use that battery.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE I bought an electric scooter from here and it broke down on my way to work the first month. Turns out, it was because they didnt put batteries in with matching voltage and then charged me $256 to pick it up and drop it off even though my bike's battery was under a warranty and purchased brand new. They also charged me for a new battery charger which was not under the warranty. The charger worked perfectly when I had it. One week later my scooter broke down again on the way to work. It was again picked up and I was told the battery was the issue and that I need a new one. They put in a new one and told me they tested it on the road and that it works now. I called to ask when I can get it back and he manager of Daymak told me I will not get my bike back without paying $756 for a new battery. My battery is under a six month warranty which Daymak and Ebike Universe refuse to honor. I am bringing them to small claims court. Please do not buy from them.

BUYER BEWARE DO NOT SHOP HERE BUYER BEWARE You know that stereotype of the car dealer/mechanic who takes advantage of anyone they can? This is the place. Shame on you Ebike Universe Vancouver A cooworker bought a bike here. She was soooo stoked to get it. Quickly things turned sour. After listening to many a frustrated phone conversation as to why she is being asked to pay for things under warranty it sounded very much like they were trying to give her the run around. They want to pocket an extra 33% on the sale of a brand new bike by refusing to honor their warranty. If she doesn't pay she gets her bike back unfixed. A brand new bike that a few months later is unusable through no fault of her own. Unless of course she brings it to a reputable mechanic and pays to have it fixed herself. On top of this being without transport has cost her hundreds of dollars. It should go without saying but this is not the feeling of joy and elation that should come with saving up and purchasing a new bike. They sold a lemon and refuse to honour their warranty contract. Warranty, you know the one that makes sure the dealer doesn't give you a hunk of scrap steel instead of a bike. The contract which ensures that you get what you paid for without having to pay more. You know that one? So i came online to see a bunch of one star reviews stating the same scam type warranty issues, of course peppered with a bunch of fishy sounding five star reviews that appear to be made up by staff. It appears that this is not just my friends issues. It is their mode of operation. I had to add my voice to the crowd. I never review things online but people need to be warned about this place. What a disgusting way to treat your customers you swindling den of thieves. Your mothers must be proud of you

Super glad I read the reviews before I bought the bike this is why now adays we have reviews so that people can help us determine where good customer service is. Even on the street people were telling me to steer clear so this place has a very bad reputation. Thanks everyone for your comments.

Rude and dismissive sales rep. Had a faulty charger on a brand new e-bike. And issues with the pedals. Brought it in, and the staff didnt let me jn the door, barely even let me speak. I was told in spite of it being under warranty, to go buy a new charger online. So now my bike is stranded downtown. Would not recommend you spend money at this store. $2400 before tax, and this is the customer service I got? Unacceptable. EDIT (since I can't figure out how to respond to the owner's response) No, I was unable to get my bike serviced by your company. The staff there wouldn't let me in the shop, wouldn't even look at my receipt that I brought for proof of warranty. I fixed it myself. The bike (daymak swift) has had a few issues. All of them due to poor assembly (which I believe is done by the retailer, not the manufacturer). I've had issues with both pedals, the handle bars, and the brakes. I've had to learn to repair them all myself, as there aren't any Daymak retailers here, except for this store, which I will never set foot in again after the way I was treated by the staff.

The service I received was absolutely wonderful and extremely fast e.g. immediately I had batteries replaced in my bike and it was done as soon as I brought the bike in not having to wait three weeks like I was told at another bike shop this guys really do you put the customer first

Purchased Rogue via Ebike Universe website and it came in POOR condition. Display panel was broken (not water resistance at all now), scratches everywhere, leftover paint on the side of the seat, the seat cannot be locked in properly and the kick stand was bent. It was bad to a point that it was not functional. I went back to the website to ask for help but the only response I got was that they are not in charge anymore, now I have to talk to this production manager from Toronto. So I talk to their production manager Mr. Akili about how unsatisfied I was and I wanted to return the product. He said there's a mandatory 20% restocking fee with it or they can send me those broken parts to get it fixed. Restocking fee applies when an item gets returned and be restocked, this item is so broken and they are asking restocking fee from me? I asked him if I will get reimbursed by having a professional to replace my parts and that's when he stopped replying my e-mails nor picking up my phone calls for two weeks. I did not feel comfortable replacing and rewire my display panel at all not if I was ever specialized into electrician or anything like that. When I tried to talk to Mr. Akili more deficiencies and concerns, he would cut me off by saying "Thank you, thank you" to push the conversation to end. After paying $2,400 this is kind of the customer service a customer deserves and Ebike Universe is completely off the chain?
