Trying to upgrade my service....on hold for 22 minutes....unbelievable. I realize covid is not over, but having a customer on hold for 22 minutes is unacceptable. I finally hung up. Hire more employees to work from home. They sure take your money fast enough on a monthly basis....maybe it's time for a provider upgrade.

Ashley on customer service was an absolute Buisness killer.. never again and I will spend a great deal of time making sure everyone I know knows this and dosnt use their services

18 "one" star reviews out of the first 20 reviews. You can tell customer service is certainly not your forte. If you are not a Eastlink customer yet, thank your lucky stars. Eastlink.... They are "4" STARS short of being any good.

When third party operators or your competitors are offering the same service for $20 less and no contract and no early cancellation fees you really should listen to what potential customers are talking to you about.

Been their customer for almost 3 years. Mostly trouble free but I just switched to Bell because for the past couple week and half, internet has been garbage with no prospect of a fix.

I have all services with Eastlink. Mobile, Landline, Internet and Television. Saturday, May 14th I went into the New Sudbury Mall location to inquire about cell phones that are on sale. I wanted a second phone as a backup as I will be traveling. The salesman asks me what I'm looking for and I say tell me what there is on sale. This so called salesman states that Eastlink does not sell phones outright. I informed him that Eastlink customers can purchase phones without Easy Tab as my husband and I have always done this. He asks to see my phone , which is a Samsung S21 and states that I could only have purchased that on a payment plan. He then looks up my cell phone number, asks to see my driver's license and then the back pedaling starts. We'll you'd have to attach the phone to your cell phone number he states. No kidding Sherlock! Instead of socializing with co-workers or scrolling through your personal cell phone when the store is quiet perhaps your time would be better spent becoming informed about the products and services you are there to represent and sell to Eastlink customers. Go on Eastlink's website and do some reading! When the customer is more knowledgeable about the company's services than the sales personnel it's time for re-training or perhaps a change of careers! I Ieft telling him that he was not a very good salesman and instead of accepting that as constructive criticism and learning from it he accuses me of being adversarial when it came to answering his questions. In response to that I reiterated our entire dialogue before exiting. Totally incompetent staff. Went home and ordered a phone directly from Samsung.

I called concerning a increase in my cable bill. I had small outstanding balance owing, which had made me aware of the price increase. I paid the amount and called Eastlink. As the balance ($60ish) had not cleared as of yet, I was informed that I could not talk to someone sales. I politely stated that, their process was flawed and would like to talk to someone else. They hung up and I was unable to call them back.. I understand that customer service people are doing a tough job and treat them with respect especially during a complaint So I must say that the great customer service that Eastlink was known for, is no more. I am dropping off my recivers today and looking for a new internet provider. I am sick of companies thinking they are doing me a favour by allowing me to pay for their services.

Refused Internet (modem) pick up for a developmentally delayed and indigenous client of ours because she did not have TWO pieces of photo ID. She had an Ontario Health Card with her photo. Had to call Eastlink service and put the contract in my wife's name as ONE photo of the lady who was with us was not adequate!!!! Stood in line again for 45 minutes to get service. Will never ever deal with Eastlink again. Their workers and phone reps. were polite and apologetic.
