They didn't disinfect my arm! It was my first time there, I typically go to the heritage location and they have always been clean and professional but have long wait times so I decided to come to this location. I parked and then phoned to ask about their wait times, pressed 3, they didn't pick up, I was redirected back to the menu and pressed 3 again and again they did not pick up again. Tried one last time and they picked up and told me it would be 20 minutes. I went inside right after the call and there were no other patients there, the two workers at the desk were sitting on their phones. (I don't care that they were on their phones but if they were sitting right there why didn't they pick up?) After handing over my papers and going through some covid questions I was told to just walk to the right and pick any collection chair to sit in. The worker came over quickly and was kind but did not disinfect my arm, they put on the tourniquet, asked me make a fist and then just stuck me! They didn't disinfect my arm!!! I have done lots of blood tests and I am a regular blood donator and my arm has genuinely never hurt the way it does now, I am bruised, the injection site is inflamed (looks like a small pimple or hive) and moving my arm feels crunchy? Not sore, but crunchy! On top of that the worker tending to the patient beside me didn't read the paperwork correctly and nearly drew multiple unnecessary vials. When the patient questioned them after being told "this is a lot of blood work" the worker then read the forms and didn't apologize, just said "oh you just saved yourself like 4 vials of blood" I would rather go somewhere that is clean and thorough and have to wait a long time than go to somewhere quick, dirty, and unprofessional. Accidents happen, mistakes are made, but in a field like this you need to do better. Not practicing cleanliness could seriously hurt someone :(

Would receive higher rating if they didn’t allow patients to play indian music as loud as possible and can hear in waiting room.

Wonderful experience. Due to high waiting hours Tawa centre’s dynalife staff recommended this laboratory as we have our 2 monthly old baby with us. The staff here was amazing and helpful. No long queues to wait and I got my blood work done within 15 minutes.

Dashti was so amazing today, thank you for your help! She was so kind, actually from start to finish each employee I interacted with was extremely kind. The staff here seem to get along well, it was a fantastic environment. I came around 3pm and was done by 315. A week ago I went to the heritage location and the staff was literally so awful, it made the whole experience so stressful, and on top of that it took two hours from the time I walked in, to me leaving - and the lady there who drew my blood was extremely rough and careless. Would recommend this location if you are south!

This clinic is wonderful! All the staff are so friendly and made me feel so safe and cared for. The service was lighting fast and I really appreciate all the staff's hard work.

Staff is amazing! Always cheerful and helpful. Rude patients should be ashamed of themselves, if they don't like to wait then book an appointment and don't go in as a walk-in!

I have been here for years, and always received great service from the staff, who work very hard. But today I’m reviewing about a specific staff member, Rhylie. After being the 3rd person to enter the door right at opening, I was seated and told the β€œsugar reading meter” was not charged yet for my testing. I patiently waited a half hour, and then the staff member Rhylie came to receive me. I asked if the β€œsugar meter was charged” she ignored me. Then sat me in the cubicle and walked off. I continued to wait, and noticed another staff member chat with her patient about the same sugar testing I was getting. Once I noticed they began their testing, I asked about Rhylie. Again I waited. When she finally came back 10 mins later, she stated β€œ okay I’m going to poke you 3 times”. Once the needle was done, I blankly waited for the next poke as she continued her papers. Confused l, I asked if we’re doing the next poke. Clearly this agitated her more, as she quickly replied β€œno, another in an hour, and another after”. This lack of information continued on, we sat in silence as she stared at me. My glucose drink was on the counter but I didn’t know when to begin drinking , as it is to be timed. So i asked if I start drinking, and she replied β€œyes I’m waiting”. wow she was rude!! I didn’t even have a view of the timer, so I just chugged as fast as I could. It’s your job to administer tests on a daily, the least you could do is be professional. Explain to your patients what your doing, and the steps.If their test requires them to wait in the clinic and additional hour then the first test, Let them know! Acknowledge your patients like HUMAN beings. Or find another career, your Arrogance is nasty!

I have always struggled to get my blood done as I am prone to fainting. Today I got my blood drawn by Tommy at 51st avenue ( South Trail ) location. My experience was really good and it was all thanks to Tommy. He made sure I was comfortable and not afraid of fainting. 5 stars! I would drive across the city for this experience again.
