I have seen Dr. Enrico for about twenty years. She has always been friendly, and has always been quick to solve any issues I have ever had. I would definitely recommend her.

First time I went to Dr. Enrico was to have my current orthotic inserts assessed (purchased from a different podiatrist) as I was experiencing a lot of foot pain from what was diagnosed as plantar fasciitis. She was very pleasant and personable, explaining that my orthotic inserts were not properly made. She offered to adjust the pair I had and I purchased a second pair from her. My foot pain has since become unbearable and despite doing exercises for plantar fasciitis, icing, getting injections, it keeps getting worse. I called clinic asking receptionist if Dr. Enrico would be able to refer me to surgery, if needed, as I’m desperate for relief. The pain was severe 24-7, wether I was walking, sitting, laying down; tingling in my heel along with extreme pain especially at night, trying to sleep. Receptionist told me yes, the doctor could refer me to a surgeon but I should come in for an assessment. Appointment was yesterday and I walked out of there in tears. Dr. Enrico, who the first time was very pleasant, was the complete opposite at my second appointment. She was late, appeared rushed and would not listen to what I was trying to explain regarding the pain and treatments I had tried, insinuating the clinic that my doctor sent me to for cortisone injections was “no good”, telling me basically there was nothing she could do (I’ve had physio, shock wave treatments too). When I asked about surgery, she completely tossed this aside, stating “surgery will not help you, it only helps women who wore high heels all their life”. When I tried telling her I had read about a surgery to release the pressure on the tendon, her reply was “you can read all you want, I’m telling you it’s not an option”. After pretty much shutting me down, not listening or asking what my symptoms were, she finally decided to take a look at my foot and quickly changed her tune when she realized how painful it was (she barely touched my foot and it made me jump). Now all of a sudden it’s “oh wow, this is more than plantar fasciitis, you have a trapped nerve, I can tell how much pain you are in”....really? Had she maybe cared enough to listen to what I was trying to explain, instead of cutting me off and showing zero empathy, this conclusion could’ve been reached quickly. It made me feel like she couldn’t care less about how I felt because she had already sold me orthotics at my first visit so “how dare I complain of foot pain” or maybe she was defensive thinking I was there to complain about the orthotics, who knows? All I know is I walked out of there feeling very disrespected and frustrated, that I just wasted my time and $50.00. I should also add she was not able to refer me to the Glen Sather clinic; she scribbled a note for my doctor, recommending this clinic, so the receptionist was not honest with me either when I asked if Dr. Enrico could refer me. What’s wrong with so many doctors these days? Many of them make you feel like you have to apologize for disturbing them, they treat you like you’re an idiot and don’t bother letting you explain your symptoms. I will never return to this clinic!
