He had his first grooming with them this week and we were so satisfied with the results. The staff is very friendly and responsive and has given some good suggestions. Doggieland is highly recommended.
R	Roy “Romulus” Donavan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They need to do a better job on transparency. My dog left stressed. He is a high energy large breed hound better suited elsewhere. This is all they had to say. Instead we were told that our dog had exhibited dominant behavior hint with a particular bread known to have such tendencies. I had never witnessed this before despite the dog being well socialized. This left me disappointed... Our dog's high energy play can be a strain when indoors. I normally stay away from providing reviews. Ps. I've read the owners timely response. The behavior mentioned as the reason he had outgrown his time at doggieland at 7 months was never observed and out of character but the owner was willing to discuss which was appreciated. This feedback is an opportunity for improvement going forward which may have some value. We found another day care with a large outdoor and indoor area which is better suited for our pet. On a positive note, Doggieland is clean. The staff we dealt with curtious and I do think it can be and is a good place for smaller and larger dogs. It's also affordable, well maintained and our puppy was happy there for a few months but had outgrown the school by the time he was 7 month's old. In the end it worked out for the best. Feedback shouldn't overlook the positive. I have increased my star rating (which I believe is a poor method of evaluating) to 4 ? ? ? ?.

M	Mercedes B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will no longer take my dog to doggyland anymore due to the fact that I’m constantly being mistreated and spoken to with the utmost disrespect. Constantly I’m being scolded for certain outcomes that only dis benefit the staff. I arrived a bit late and I noticed no dogs or cars were in the lot so I let my dog walk in since I had multiple items in my hands and my dog is trained to follow me and not run off. The staff for some reason has her dog there that isn’t friendly and doesn’t like dogs in a facility that has multiple dogs coming in and out which is crated behind a desk. On this day the crate was left open, for some reason; and if you know dogs are coming in why leave the crate open if your dog is unfriendly. Regardless that’s not my problem nor my concern. My dog sniffed and wanted to say hi and the small dog immediately snapped and almost attacked my larger breed puppy. I wasn’t concerned about that since my dog backed up before the dog bit her. It was the staff member then proceeded to yank my dog roughly and screamed at me saying I had to hold the leash of my dog. Isn’t this place for dogs to be dogs and let run around? And why are you bringing your dog to work that’s your issue not mine, don’t bring your dog then. Super disrespectful and this isn’t the first time this woman has raised her voice at me and given me attitude, she wears glasses and has black hair tied back. She shouldn’t be working in the line of customer care with that attitude. Constantly treating me as if I wasn’t a human being. I would like to speak to the owner of the facility since I’m strongly displeased with the way I’ve been treated.
T	Trevor Yhap on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are no words to describe how much we appreciate the staff at Doggieland Vaughan and the superb care they give our dog Marley. There are so many exceptional services they offer from daycare, grooming, boarding and training. We first discovered Doggieland in June 2021 when we got Marley and I had to go back to the office. The staff were very accommodating and came up with a plan for Marley even though he didn't have all of his vaccinations and couldn't mix with the other dogs. Fast forward a few months later and Marley is in daycare 3 days a week and he is groomed monthly also completed at Doggieland. Picking him up after daycare has become comical as he will sit on the steps when we are trying to leave and he just won't budge. He loves daycare so much he doesn't want to leave. After unsuccessfully trying to train Marley by watching YouTube videos we decided to kick up his training and enrolled him in Life Skills 101 Training - In Daycare Training. This program is fantastic. Firstly, Derek is an awesome trainer and literally transformed Marley into a completely new doggie. Derek taught Marley the lessons he needs to be a good and safe dog. Additionally Derek was so patient with us, as we also needed to learn the commands required ensuring Marley would take direction from us. We are so grateful to Derek for teaching Marley the important lessons to keep him safe and happy. Doggieland is the best place for any dog to have fun, learn life skills or just enjoy a spa day at grooming. Thank you to all of the staff for being so wonderful and taking such good care of my puppy I can't thank you enough. Yvonne and Trevor
J	Jordan Hartley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My dog is a rescue, and was extremely fearful and had a lot of socialization issues with both other dogs and people when we first got her. She's been going to Doggieland for a few years now, and the part that they have played in turning her in to a social, playful, amazing pet can't be overstated. With every week that passed, you could literally see the change in her as her confidence grew through the efforts of the wonderful staff at Doggieland. They are a group of people that are extremely dedicated to the animals in their care, and the service I've received from everyone I've ever encountered there has been exceptional - a rarity in this day and age, I find. We would not have the amazing, playful, social dog that we have now without Doggieland. They took a frightened animal that had only experienced horror and abuse for her entire existence and turned her in to a playful, affectionate and well trained pet. I believe that they truly, deeply care about every dog that they care for, and every human customer that walks through their doors. Highly recommended for both their care and dedication to my dog, and for their service and attention to me.

He had a bit of separation anxiety (covid pup, am I right?!) but we were able to enjoy our family vacation with thorough updates that put our mind at ease knowing he was so well taken care of. He had a bath on the last day and came out proud with a new bandana. We highly recommend Doggieland.
