Dr. Asianova Animal Clinic 24-7 Emergency Call

My family had been bringing our two dogs to her for a few years — I cannot stress how much this was a mistake. She provided the absolute worst “care” to my dog and she severely lacks any sort of empathy. My dog had been a patient of hers for more than five years. He routinely went for checkups. She diagnosed him with a heart murmur and advised us to call her *immediately* if he began to cough, as she noted it would be an emergency. The same afternoon he began to cough, we called her. She refused to see us, despite her claiming to offer “after hours services” and her warnings that it would be an emergency if we did not bring him to see her immediately. As a result, we had no choice but to bring him to the emergency vet hospital where they found a massive tumour on his heart — something that she missed at ALL of his many visits. We were then advised by the hospital that they would be able to remove the fluid around his heart, but the fluid would return and he did not have much time left. The next morning, I received a call from Dr. Asianova reprimanding me for not bringing my dog to her immediately and for bringing him to the emergency hospital. She yelled at me on the phone and told me that “I made a mistake” and made “the wrong choice” in bringing my dog to the emergency hospital “because I wasted all my money”. I told her how dare she speak to me like that and tell me that I made the wrong choice in bringing my dog — WHO SHE *REFUSED* TO SEE DESPITE TELLING ME TO CALL HER AS SOON AS HE BEGAN TO COUGH — to the emergency hospital when I had absolutely no choice but to get him seen as soon as possible. Not only did this “doctor” fail to diagnose a massive heart tumour and provide emergency care, but this “doctor” also failed to provide any sort of compassionate care to her long time patients AND tried to make her patients feel bad about their decisions in a time of crisis when SHE REFUSED TO SEE HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE. All she cared about was the fact that I paid money to another clinic instead of hers. She is the absolute worst vet and I would not recommend her to anyone, not even my worst enemies. Stay away from her and this clinic and bring your pets to the Keele and Rutherford animal clinic — Dr. Shankar is exponentially better than Dr. Asianova in every single way.

We have been going to Dr. Asianova clinic for many years with different pets. She has been with us through vaccinations, neutering, injuries, sickness, euthanasia (from old age) you name it. She is very honest, direct, and will Never Ever do any tests or procedures that are not needed. I love the fact that I reach her any time day or night. She does home visits if needed and very affordable.

We had a bad experience getting treatment for our cat at this clinic. After the suggested treatment that didn't work, she blamed us for “not following the treatment” even though we did it the way she prescribed. She was rude and unprofessional over the phone. Avoid at any cost.

We can not trust to this person. She is not honest, she is liar, But presenting herself completely opposite. 24/7 is fake. If you will call her in weekend she is going to be.extremely upset and rude. She is using people (getting new personal and not paying them at all). She is gunny, fake, crude. Thinking just about how to get your money. Selling stuff what is absolutely not necessary. Better to work with Canadian Vet Doctors.

Stay away from this clinic. Being new to Canada, I was still not comfortable getting a Canadian vet for my dog, as I did not speak English. She was so unprofessional and pushy, literally forced us to get a dog tested for heartworms and we ended up with over $600 bill and overpriced medication for something that was... just a diarrhea after my dog ate a raw egg by accident.

I highly recommend Dr. Asianova! She is a professional who cares about your pet. She vaccinated our kitten and recommended the right cat food, and assisted us on how to take care of our kitten. Thank you!

Dr. Asianova is an amazing vet! My dog had diarrhea and vomiting, and she was able to instruct me over the phone how to take care of her. I was even able to bring my puppy in the same day compared to all the other vets that were completely booked and told me I'd have to wait a week or take her to ER. She's super affordable and communicates everything clearly and calmly. Just talking to her over the phone eased my anxiety and panic! Amazing vet with amazing service! ?

Dr. Asianova is an experienced and very professional vet. I am going to her clinic from the very beginning with my dog. What I like about her - she knows her stuff, calls back, makes space in her schedule, affordable and doesn't push unnecessary tests or treatments on you. She successfully treated ear infection when by dog was just a puppy and she provided a great care to her after that. When my dog got eye problems, I tried another vet in midtown TO because of the location, but it was overpriced and absolutely useless, then I tried another one, the result was the same. I came back to Dr.Asianova and got an accurate diagnosis and treatment suggestions very fast. She might be perceived by some people to be assertive but this is only because she cares a lot about health of the pet and because she has an extensive experience. Right now, I feel comfortable commuting from Midtown TO to Richmond Hill for this kind of care. Definitely recommend.
