S	Swetha Rajadhithan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first baby and I couldn't be more happier with my experience at Diversity. Valerie, Mandy and the support staff were so amazing. I could scream from the roof how much I love diversity. I feel that every woman needs to have these ladies in their lives. I was incredibly supported. I had amazing and consistent contact with my midwives. They were always there when I needed them. Covid didn't affect my care at all. They put in place protective measures. They also did an amazing job at explaining every hurdle I experienced during my pregnancy. Always using visual aids and providing educational reading material. I felt that my team went above and beyond. The support staff at the front desk were always so helpful and kind. Diversity midwives is a must have during your prenatal care!
C	Carley McIntosh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a wonderful experience with Diversity Midwives. All the staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. Both my children were delivered by a team of midwives, but based on a recommendation from a friend, we decided to try this clinic with our second child. We are so happy we did! We were assigned to Team C - Zoe, Melanie and Kirsten. Each and every appointment was so informative and we felt so comfortable with all three of our midwives. Everyone is incredibly knowledgeable, caring and personable. Zoe ended up being the midwife on call when I delivered my daughter. She was so supportive - as was our secondary midwife and the student who was also present at the birth - and I felt very grateful that she was there with me. I could rave all day about our experience with Diversity Midwives. They ALMOST make me want to have a third, just so we could go through this experience with them again. ALMOST ;)! But instead we will just refer anyone and everyone who is expecting a child to contact Diversity.

They are both very knowledgeable, peaceful, and professional. We highly recommend Peaceful Beginnings Midwifery to anyone looking for an excellent hospital or home birth experience. Thank you so much , we would not have been successful without you guys .
M	Marzia Niamah on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In reading the reviews, I think the majority of positive reviews are for Teams B, C and D. I was with Team A and it was not a good experience at all. I, thankfully, moved to Oshawa and switched midwives and had a wonderful experience with them, but Diversity Midwives really let me down. The midwives really did not spend any time with me and I always felt like a burden. My appointments were always rushed and frantic. One midwife actually said, “We have over 200 clients so I forget things about everyone.” They were late in receiving reports to provide me with reassurance, they weren’t organized, and they regularly “forgot” specific details about my pregnancy. Whenever I called with an issue or concern, they would invalidate my feelings and make it seem like I was wasting their time. I went to the hospital once because I was so concerned about some pain 27 weeks in, and after telling me she would come to support me, the midwife never showed up. The advice she provided over the phone and afterwards was not helpful at all. It was truly disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend Team A to any expecting mothers (can’t comment on other Teams).

I’m pregnant again looking for a good midwife because of this places traumatic experience. and this uneducated midwife Center keeps popping up and it’s annoying because they don’t do nothing but take credit for poor performed duties.

They should not call themselves health professionals because they are not.Threatening the patient to abide from their rules in middle of labor. Imposing their ideas on the patient. No one check nothing for hours during active labor. Water broke and they don't know where that water is coming from. Tried to Induce the patient when she is already 8cm dialated and having urges to push. No communication nor eye contact no mental support nothing. And in terms of medical or emergency knowledge none. Please don't go save yourself.

However, my experience with this place was catastrophic. I filled their online request to be paired with a midwife group, 3 weeks had passed and they never called me back. After following up from my end 4 times, they finally gave me an appointment for 8:30 am the following week. I was so excited for my appointment but when I arrived the place was closed. I left a message asking what had happened and why they didn't reach out if they needed to reschedule. When I finally got a call from them at about 9 am, they never apologized or offered an explanation they just said their midwife could do the appointment over the phone. I was so surprised that this is the way they treat their customers I just said to cancel the appointment. I will be going to an OB as this experience was truly disappointing.

Thank you so much to Team D for being patient with me and making me feel like family. I would recommend Diversity Midwives to any expecting mother, they are amazing. I could not thank them enough, from the advice to the care for myself and my baby. I may just have my third so I can be cared for by them again!
