Waited forever for a very valuable package to arrive....received eleven, yes ELEVEN messages confirming date, time etc that I could expect package from them so made sure I stayed home entire day. As I sat in a chair three steps from my door, I received a message saying it had been delivered 30 minutes ago. Opened my door: no package. Went to the lobby of my building and found that YES it had been β€œdelivered” but instead of bringing it to my unit’s 2nd floor door which I had confirmed ELEVEN times with them, it had instead been TOSSED into the downstairs lobby of my condo buildingβ€”for anyone in the building to steal. Luckily I checked and in the 30 mins since it had apparently been delivered, no one had taken it. Tried to call them but no answer. Infuriating. This was an international package and would have been a major loss and huge hassle if it had been stolen or damaged.

This company bites! They say you have to pay a fee in an e-mail to get your pkg but when you click on the link NOTHING and you try to contact them or use a tracking number and you just get more frustration...no package is worth that!

Payed 100$ for card delivery, my bank said that DHL told them they called me (no one did not) and I wasn’t at home. I guess they didn’t even come to my place to attempt the delivery. Service is disgusting!

I don't write negative reviews in general but I am SO incredibly disappointed and angered by the lack of customer service that I've experienced with DHL. We waited for our package to arrive but instead, received a text that they were unable to deliver the package (not sure why because we were at the house anticipating its arrival). After SEVERAL weeks of phoning and getting nowhere with the automated service and countless responses of "We are unable to locate any information based on this tracking number", I decided to drive to their location on McGill Road in Kamloops only to find out that despite their website stating that they were open, they actually CLOSED 3 HOURS EARLIER. Fast forward another couple of weeks of trying to locate my package and make arrangements for either pick-up or delivery and I was finally able to talk to a real-live person today. Imagine my happiness to hear a human voice and finally resolve things. My happiness was very short-lived however when I was told by DHL staff that my package had just been sent back to the original shipper !!! Unbelievably, DHL recommended that I contact the original shipper and make arrangements for them to re-ship my package. Yah, not happening if it means that I have to deal with the headache of dealing with DHL again. Needless to say, I won't be using DHL again and unfortunately won't be purchasing items from companies that use DHL for their deliveries after this - my first and last experience with DHL. By far, the worst shipping company I've had to work with. So disappointed

Repulsive customer services practices Office closed and only accept online pick up/shipping. Claim they need time for β€œcleaning” This is the new norm of customer service NON EXISTENT

They do not give enough details. They decided to hand off my package to a Canadian delivery company, and now I have no tracking number, and have no clue where my stuff is. I will never recommend this company to anyone. I think it would be best if they just stopped being a company all together. Terrible service.

Worst experience I've ever had dealing with a company, knowingly destroyed my package, charged me duty fees and all that and still delivered. Tried to get compensated but was told since the value is under $1000 I'm out of luck. After countless phone calls was told I'd receive a gift card to help pay fees for the second shipment, never received, called about it and was told to file a claim, even tho I'm not the shipper, and again the value is under 1000 so f$&# me right?

Horrible customer service (combative) and hidden fees where they will hold your package unless you pay. Paid $33.00 for shipping and $14.00 in taxes (which is expected living in Canada) and then they said we had to pay an extra $33.00 in duty - what? On a $80 purchase? They have been investigated in the past if you Google DHL. Will be making sure I find out what delivery service the online store uses before making purchases in future. Unfortunately, this also reflects poorly on the online store when the delivery service they use holds your package demanding further fees not agreed to in the original purchase. This has never happened with any other delivery services in past and we do a lot of online shopping.
