They actually "had" a great service years ago when they were small with a single office but they got super greedy by slipping in hidden fee's to the point they now run a full fledged SCAM ring. Endless HIDDEN charges, (many that aren't advertised). Don't fall for their "import and pricing examples" these are only a fraction of what you'll really pay. It now starts with them forcing you to deliver packages to their secretly owned Montana Mailbox warehouse where they profit on both sides of the border. Then charge high storage fee's in USD while your waiting for more items to arrive on top of an insane exchange rate of $1.62 USD/CAD which isn't disclosed anywhere. Plus invoices are manually entered and I've noticed they love to sneak in extra $5 line items wherever they can. I've had to call multiple times in the past because of these incorrect amounts and each time had to wait for the owner to get back to me while my packages are put on hold and haggle it out for something as simple as a couple bucks. The crazy part is that's only the beginning. They started charging repeat high storage fee's after a 60 day period which they didn't do initially while "no other storage warehouse does this". They effectively hold your packages hostage hoping you don't pay and abandon your property so they can keep it for themselves and refuse to disclose storage terms for keeping packages in the warehouse even when I asked them this by phone and told me there is no limit hoping you simply forget about them while racking up large repeat overlapped storage fee's. Once you spend the time and gas to pick up your packages from their office you realize they tack on small print disbursement fee's, fuel surcharges and more on top of their usual brokerage, pickup service. Don't make the mistake I did, told my friends about DYK back when they were a reputable business now to only have them complain how badly they got ripped off also. Even UPS with their outrageous broker fee's is better then using these guys at this point and UPS even delivers right to your doorstep at no charge. Stay far away from this crooked dirty service.

Super slow these days! A 3 lb shipment landed in Sweetgrass Montana on May 20, today on June 22 I get notification that it is available for pickup in Calgary. That seems pretty slow - it's not like they had to cross the Suez Canal (grin)! Sorry DKY but I think you need to do something to speed up your processing.

This may actually be a scam. Not sure but their prices are CDN on the website but then when you get there you find out that they are actually in USD. This makes them more expensive then Canada Post. So don’t bother. Not worth it.

Total scam. I paid to have two packages shipped from Alberta to Montana and entered into the US postal system. They never arrived, so I'm out the money I paid for shipping, plus the cost of the two lost/stolen items. I have called both the Alberta and Montana offices dozens of times, and no one ever picks up. I have emailed both locations multiple times with no response. Avoid!!

The service is definitely cheaper than small packet shipping with Canada Post and you get a tracking number. Sisi is really helpful and friendly. I can't imagine going back to Canada Post for Parcels to the US, it's like comparing apples to oranges, it's just not the same thing. They have helped us artwork to Trinadad and a large box to Iceland, both at reasonable rates through their US Fedex service. We are happy!

I run my own business and DYK has always handled my packages cautiously and has delivered them on time for only $2-$3. I have trouble with USPS, however, because of DYK's exceptional customer service, they reached out to me and provided me with contact details of the person I could contact to resolve my issue. I really appreciate their hard work and efforts.

DYK Post is a freight forwarder. They will transport your US letters and parcels to the SweetGrass, Montana border where they are passed on to either USPS or FedEx for delivery. I do like the fact that the clerks at DYK will take the time to cost compare heavy parcels via USPS or FedEx for your convenience. Tracking # included! I find the service useful since Canada Post is ridiculously expensive and need this kind of competition. Usually my parcels are delivered to the US destination very promptly. Keep in mind they will charge you in US dollars which is then converted to Canadian dollars, and cash is king. Don’t pay credit card or debit if possible because there is an up charge. My only complaint with DYK is their US to Canadian exchange rate, which seems very high, but still makes it more reasonable and economical than Canada Post.
