Rooms are very dated, they haven't been refreshed for at least 30 years. Old broken furniture, insufficient lighting, disgusting bathrooms. Ice cold rooms. There are much nicer motels than this place.

Didn’t even want to give this place one star….. weird check in…. Got two rooms… one door was left open… no towels in one of the rooms.. lacking extreme cleanliness. Do not recommend this place.. and will never stay again…. Dirty sheets!! Gross.. I froze sleeping on top…. If I hadn’t paid already I would of went and booked another hotel. Only good thing… water pressure was good…. I could go on but why bother… I understand staff shortage but dirty sheets …

Awful hotel. First thing we noticed when walking up to our floor was dry vomit on the carpet and wall. The carpet in the hallway hadn’t been vacuum for what looked like a long time. Exposed cable/Ethernet cables outside our door. When we enter our room we notice an odd smell and open drawers and actually thought they may have given us keys to an already rented room. The carpets were buckling. Hair on the shower walls. Dry ripped up Kleenex or toilet paper under the sink. Only 2 pillows on a king size bed. Chipped paint on the floor and windowsills. The hairdryer ripped off the wall. The ceiling in the bathroom bubbling and peeling off. Mold on the ceiling of the shower. The balcony door having a big gap in the opening. Not enough towels for 2 people. We paid a damage deposit for an already very damage room and when we ask for someone to come up and look at what was already damage and how dirty the room was we were told they knew about the damage already and the worker just sat on his chair and wouldn’t even look up from his phone to make eye contact with my husband but were told they had ‘a cleaning person in today so we will talk to them tomorrow’ They never offered to give us a clean room. And considering we had driven 5 hours for a family function the start shortly after arriving we had no time to book another hotel it was very upsetting.

DONT STAY HERE! Worst hotel experience I have ever had. They are lucky I had to put one star if I could I’d give them negative stars. Staff there are terrible and not helpful at all. My girlfriend and I drove to north bay from Milton Ontario for two days because I had my HVAC license exam and I needed a stress free stay and study with no worries. so we decided to pick days inn since the pictures on the website looked comfortable and nice and the location was perfect. Finally got there after a 5 hour drive and when we checked in the room, the room had the carbon monoxide alarm going off and the room was ice cold. Got rooms changed and the second room the fire alarm was beeping steady cause of dead batteries. Got room changed again and finally it was decent but realized it wasn’t even close to the pictures I saw on the internet. After settling down and unpacking we went out to grab some food and came back to realize the water wasn’t working at all in the room and they couldn’t fix it so they finally upgraded to a better room but still wasn’t clean and updated. Wallpaper was falling off walls and lots of water damage in bathroom. Lack of pillows, desk chairs and room keys. My girlfriend took a bath and burnt her hand on the hot water knob. After all this chaos, when checking out they were rude and not helpful with any accommodation with the chaos we experienced and made me pay full amount. After all this mess I will never stay at a days inn again. Unless they give me a free stay at a better location to have a better experience.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. No continental breakfast but the gentleman at the front desk explained why and was very polite! We found a timmies but enjoyed our stay :)

The room is cheap & close to downtown. Walking distance to lots of places & has a good parking lot. The front desk staff are kind & helpful. The beds are comfortable. The overall building is outdated & noticeably run down. The first 5 pictures are from our original room. The bathroom had hair left on the door, bathtub & in the tub, which also had a lot of mold. The last 4 photos were from the room we were updated to after asking for a new room B/c of the uncleanlinesses. The front desk person was very kind & helpful during this & brought us top sheet. The stains on the fitted sheets & duvet are gross. We are passing through going home for Christmas from BC & I really just wanted to shower. The upgraded room was not an improvement due to the staining. I was unable to shower due to the staining & mold that is the bathtub. There are small details such as the hair dryer not being put away, granola bar crumbs on the duvet cover of the bed & something splashed/stained on the side of the bathroom sink near the toilet paper.

Stayed there recently. Good comfortable room I booked room on Ground level. Parked my car near room. So was easy to carry luggage in and out. Staff was friendly and gave me extra Tea/ Milk/ Sugar to make tea many times. Complimentary Breakfast was simple but good (Covid restriction). Staff took care to see I am comfortable, and if I need any thing. Location is convinient. Lots of parking space.

The gentleman at the night desk was very polite. That's all I can say that's positive about this dive that shames the Day's Inn name. I never care about a hotel being dated. I'm hard pressed to find negatives in most places. This however was something else. The lock system didn't work so the desk clerk had to let us into the rooms. First one wasn't clean. The room we ended up in had a gross ring around the bathtub. The phone didn't work. We got to bed and realized the heater didn't work properly. It didn't get freezing but our room wasn't warm. We were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. Front desk didn't care about the terrible state of their hotel and argued with me about a pet fee for animal's that were not out in the room (2 birds and a few reptiles). They wanted to charge me$100! I booked a pet friendly hotel and told the clerk we had animals that were not going to be out in the room and he said no problem. He watched us move them in and said nothing. The hall carpet the colour of diarrhea is appropriate for this terrible hotel. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
