Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Edmonton Airport

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions, and until the most recent stay it has always been our preferred hotel. Right from the get go things were difficult- we attempted to call a week in advance of our stay to book a room but no one would answer the phone. We had to book through a third party call center (Expedia). At check in they had our information wrong and we were to be staying on the top floor which is not dog friendly, and nor is it ideal when you also have a toddler and a baby. We attempted to leave our phone number with the front desk incase any one calls to complain about our kids or dog (as we have done with every previous stay) and we were told that's not allowed as we were to remain inside the room with the dogs during our stay- online pet policy and past experience says otherwise. We brought one of the kids baby monitors down so we could keep an eye on the dogs should we choose to use the pool or go get a bite to eat. It uses WIFI and the front desk was no help in providing a password to hook it up. I could understand if she didn't have the password herself or if it was room specific and didn't use passwords but she in general was just uninterested in helping. At checkout no one was available at the desk. My husband had to go back later to find someone. We then found out the third party charged the room to our CC rather than just prepay, and they charged us extra for using them and not booking through the hotel directly. What was quoted as 87$ per night ended up costing us closer to 130$. Unfortunately we won't be back.

The staff were friendly, the property was clean and the guest room was very comfortable. Check in and check out were both very quick and efficient. Would definitely stay here again.

For a cheap hotel the room isn't bad. When I checked in on Thursday night I was told the pool and fitness hours. I realized I forgot a baithing suit so I purchased one on Friday and planned to use the hot tub the next morning. When I got to the pool it said it was out of order.. pretty disappointed, had I known the pool was out of order when I booked the room I would have opted for a different hotel. Definitely planning to use other accommodations for my next work trip to Edmonton.

Amazing customer service. we showed up late one night and were flying out early the next morning. The woman working the front desk was extremely friendly and we decided to leave our vehicle in the lot while we were away. They had run out of passes but she told us she would have a solution for us before we left in the morning. When we went to check out they had the pass ready to go. The man at the front desk made us fresh coffee and made sure to have breakfast items ready for us even though it was well before serving time. It was a short stay but they made us feel welcome.

I've stayed here many times both for work and traveling. The service is always great, the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and quiet, the free breakfast is as good as you can get, and I really enjoy the pool and hot tub. This hotel is by far the best value in the area. The only downfall is that the restaurant sucks, but that's not the hotel's fault. Great job staff!

The rooms have a few dings and dirty corners, but quite spacious, comfortable and beautiful. The pool is nice, a standard rectangle, cool but not cold. Hot tub us nice and hot without burning. Plenty of luggage trollies (turning wheels at one end). The free breakfast is run by a lovely friendly lady, and has bacon, cinnamon French toast and other nice items. Prepackaged items were also available for anyone worried about the spread of germs or simply to easily grab and go. It was nice to stay here, my only complaint is that it is a little hard to find in the maze of hotels here.

Front desk staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast staff were also great. Pretty standard hotel for days inn. Breakfast was better than expected and served in a comfortable space. Cons: The hotel was slightly dated, Gym was small. The pool was also average. Our AC unit made a pulsing sound that was annoying. Overall good stay.

We had a memorial to attend in a near by town and after 4 1/2 hours of traveling we were treated to an early checkin to spruce up. I can’t say enough about this hotel, very thought out large rooms that were very clean. The location is so quiet and their breakfast is outstanding. There were hot and cold options as well as microwaveable breakfast sandwiches you can take back to your room to heat up. Beds were very comfy and the pillows were just soft enough. But the best part of our stay was the amazing front desk staff. So helpful, and charming. I forgot my phone charger and cord on the desk and it was retrieved, packaged up and mailed to me. Joelle you are such an amazing and generous person and Days Inn is lucky to have you as an employee! Thank you for a great nights sleep and the best cookies that made my husband’s day!
