From our humble origins as breakfast experts – to today’s menu with dozens of modern dishes for any time of the day, Ricky’s is a place where everyone feels at home.
Ricky’s opened its doors in Vancouver in 1962 as Ricky’s Pancake House, famous for buttermilk pancakes, value breakfast specials, and the very best service. Ricky’s expanded in the 1980s to include full lunch and dinner. As well, in 2014, Ricky’s acquired ABC Country Restaurants, a chain that had delivered great country fare for over 40 years. This merge brought together two great brands, both with a rich history of delivering exceptional food and service to Canadian families.
In 2017, the Ricky’s brand further expanded with the launch of Ricky’s Café, a new contemporary café concept with an express burger and sandwich bar and gourmet home meal takeout service. All while still serving the famous breakfasts and high quality lunch and dinner items Ricky’s is known for.
With ongoing expansion, including new locations opening in Alberta and BC, Ricky’s has 85+ locations across Canada to serve you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Showed up on a Saturday morning planning a quick breakfast before heading to the airport. Showed up at about 910-915, there was only 1 server initially and the restaurant was starting to get full. We ordered 2 types of pancakes and loaded hashbrowns without bacon. 30 minutes later, we're still waiting so I ask the server to bring to go boxes with the meal and the bill so we can eat for a few min and be ready to leave. 10 more minutes later the hashbrowns show up and 1 plate of pancakes is placed in front of us. We start eating, the hashbrowns end up having bacon bits buried in it, and as a vegetarian I am now very upset because I have eaten food that had meat in it even if I did not eat any of the actual chunks. Stop the server to inform her, server doesn't even bother to remove the bacon dish from our table, and their compensation was removing the $4.59 (ish) item off of the bill. The second set of pancakes never arrives, so we stand up at the front to pay our bill and then they finally pack the pancakes in a to go box and hand it to us. Paid for a meal that a) didn't accomodate our dietary restrictions and b) food didn't arrive together so one person got to eat while the other person got theirs to go. 0 point in eating out would have ordered take out if I wanted take out. And then when I actually opened my to go box, there was both pieces of shredded hashbrowns and pieces of EGGSHELL in my pancake box.

The nachoes were underwhelming for the cost, my chicken sandwich was obviously reheated and fell apart on its cheap bun, and the kids macaroni and cheese was inedible (I don't know what they use for cheese but it tasted like some sort of powder cheese). There are a lot better options in the area

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ from the moment we walked in we were greeted enthusiastically. and we had awesome table service.. several times we were checked on for coffee/drink refills. and our meals were both delicious and hot.. i had the new eggs benny on the spring menu.. and its the perfect portion size for me.. we had wonderful service from Kiera.
i would recommend if u are in leduc to stop here .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came back with my boyfriend for the second time here and it was just as great as the first time. Huge shout out to the waitress Lanaya who was the sweetest lady I’ve ever met. She even remembered us from months ago when we came in, and was sure to make sure our stay was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely disgusting!! Ordered French onion soup and Turkey dinner…..soup arrived and was cold, so it was sent back and seconds later my Turkey dinner arrived!! So that was sent back stating I wanted my soup BEFORE my main course. The second bowl arrived with 3 slices of bread in the bowl, less than 1/2 ladle of soup and more cheese than I’ve ever seen! That too was returned and was asked if I still wanted the Turkey dinner which I declined. At the time of writing this, I’m still sat here and there’s 2 others here, so it’s not like the kitchen staff are overwhelmed!!
Manager was very apologetic, but that doesn’t excuse the “cooks” in the kitchen.
If you’re thinking of dining here, please consider spending your hard earned money somewhere else other than this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent experience tonight for dinner. We started with the mushroom soup. Really good. For main dishes we had lasagna and fish and shrimp. Hands down, probably the best fried fish I've had in a restaurant. Even the lasagna looked good. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely Amazing!!! Ordered French onion soup and Turkey dinner…..soup arrived and was hot and fresh, and had the perfect amount of cheese! The Turkey Dinner was juicy, tasty and I couldn't get enough. Every single employee here is very much focused on making sure everything is as good as possible, and it shows from the manager, through the server down to the pride the kitchen staff clearly takes in the quality of the food they serve.
Do yourself a favor and stop in here for a great meal at a reasonable price. You'll be glad you did.
