β β β β β The staff went above and beyond. The staff in the lounge were the most accommodating, professional and friendly people I have stayed with. We come to Kenora to fish often and would never stay anywhere else. 10/10 from us!

β β β β β Although the staff were friendly and they accepted debit, the room itself wasn't the cleanest. Didn't mind that it was very dated looking, but there was crumbs in the drawer and the fridge smelled funky. Definitely overpriced for $180 as I've been to much nicer roadside motels for half the price, but had to stop here late night while traveling due to a road closure.

Early morning Check in at 3:38am had a room available for 174.33 so I decided to stay here. I asked the front desk if it was possible to do a late check out the staff member told me it wouldnβt be a problem. The same day checking out the replacement front desk clerk basically called me a liar for saying that the night front desk told me I could check out later in the afternoon due to my early check in. So I was charged another 174.33 for a room I didnβt stay in. Days inn Kenora If you want the one star removed do the right thing and give me my refund.

β β β β β The rooms were clean, and the restaurant staff were very nice. The front desk staff weren't professional, and the restaurant was closed on a Sunday. The signs said restaurant closed Monday and Tuesday. We booked the hotel for the pool and waterslide, but that was closed and appears to be a storage room now. It was nice to see security in the parking lot at night as there were many intoxicated people hanging out in the parking lot until 1:30am.

β β β β β The room was clean and nicely done. Beds were comfy. Only issue was how loud it was outside the door. People coming and going. A lot of yelling and swearing at 7 am. Not Management's fault, maybe if the rooms were a little more soundproof?? Don't let it keep you from staying, though. It was a nice room.

β β β β β beds were comfy, channels on TV not many choices, the metal tissue holder on the wall wasn't even secured, pulled a tissue out and the whole thing came out, presume it has been like that for awhile, the toilet leaked and ran unless you got the handle right, the lobby, restaurant, and lounge or bar is a little dumpy, people smoking outside the main door, even staff, there could be a smoking area, even the landing could use a simple sweep, seems the doors I walked by getting to my room, a simple coat of paint would help in looks, our server said she was busy and took about five minutes to come back, and there was only three tables, two were eating and drinking already, one was finished. she seemed nice but curt. the front desk agent was polite, but not overly cheerful, it seems he has been doing a long time. like he is in a rut, gave me the corporate rate when he found out I worked for the sister property which was nice, even still it is overpriced at 139.00, floor cold as there is no carpet on the floor and a little noisy I have stayed at nicer places for cheaper.

β β β β β We come to Kenora a few times a year &usually stay at Comfort inn thought we'd try a new hotel for the weekend. The beds are comfy staff is great however, this probably isn't the best hotel if you have a young child we have a 1 year old and the room they gave us smelt like a big cigarette ( there was no issue with us changing rooms so thank you ) But coming and going from the hotel there's always people smoking right near the front lobby so we didn't like that for our child and the bar is loud. We stayed for the night only.

I broke down in Kenora and was lucky enough to find this place.
Close to town, good prices.
Great staff.
Great food.
And beds comfy as you would want.plus.
Personally I will be going west next year and will make a point to stay here, regardless.
