J	Jayne Irwin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service right from the get go. One star is being EXTREMELY generous. My husband and I have been on the road for thirteen hours. Our key card didn't work x2 then I went down for a cup of tea mainly because there is no kettle or coffee pot nor cups in the room. The tea water was tepid at best and there was NO cream or milk. Upon enquiry, the masked girl behind the desk SHRUGGED and said "then I guess there isn't any". So I said "can't you FIND any??". The answer was NO. Are you kidding me?? Poor service all around. We will definitely NOT recommend this laughable Comfort Inn in Kenora. Ridiculously run. Pathetic

It's not that bad but after driving 3+ hours, working another 9 its just not something I enjoy doing....but its probably something I should do more haha

The hotel had covid-19 prevention rules wich I liked, they do care about customers and thats a plus. Thanks for the great service! I forgot the lady name but she was in the desk, shes super attentive and fast responsive
C	Carol Rose on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at the Comfort Inn Kenora, one night. We’re had travelled over 10 hours, not sure where we were we were going to end up! So we didn’t call ahead to book a room! Walked in and we asked if there was any available. Well! we got a lecture about just showing up and hoping for a room! (We’ve been doing that the whole trip as we don’t have data on our phones, with no issues) anyway they had a room and it was going to cost us over $200.00 (two queen beds) we just left a hotel that had two queen beds, hot tub, swimming pool and a coffee maker, for under $125. This room at the Comfort Inn smelt horrible and it didn’t even have a coffee maker. The front desk seemed so proud when she told me there was a free continental breakfast in the morning! It was a horrible breakfast,the only good thing was the coffee for my hubby, cuz he didn’t get it when he woke up due to NO coffee maker in the room! Our next stay was over 14 hours away for just over $100 also has a pool and a coffee maker plus a continental breakfast and as much tea and coffee as we want 24/7. Didn’t sleep well at the Comfort Inn due to the smell (didn’t think I had allergies, but I ended up with a sinus headache due the smell) and the price! I will never stay there again! In the morning I went to ask a question at the front desk, the guy I talked to was dressed very unprofessional for a front desk personnel! Not a good experience ☹️

For that price and much lower I'm used to the Marriott, Holiday Inn Express, Country Inn and Suites. This would normally be a $90 hotel. The smell wasn't pleasant upon entering our room. Strong disinfectant and the odor it was trying to mask was the wet dog smell. Breakfast was ok but you had to take it back to your room. Overall, 2 star.
A	Anonymous on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our stay and found it clean and quiet. There wasn't any feeling of being unsafe with my grandsons. I will be staying again in the future. The rec center was close by to go swimming. Lots of deer sightings.
G	Greg Gale on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All right for a lower priced chain hotel. Ground floor units have sliding glass doors which you can park at. No elevator to the second floor. Rooms have everything you expect. Clean comfy beds. Good shower. Decent hot breakfast.
