They navigated the pandemic restrictions very effectively and the four professionals caring for us, Catherine, Stephanie, Veronique and Lesley, were patient, personable, and knowledgeable. Huge thanks to all of them from our family, especially Lesley and Veronique who worked the graveyard shift to ensure a healthy delivery.

The hospital then called twice more and left messages but no one returned their calls as well. Although I know a midwife would not be able to deliver a premature baby, at the very least it would have been nice for them to return our calls. Weeks later they were genuinely apologetic but I personally would never trust them again.

In fact, the midwives saved my first baby’s life performing maneuvers to deliver him safely when an OB was unavailable. They also provided support for both an emergency and a planned c section. 100% would recommend this incredible group of professionals.

For our first child the appointments were very informative and supportive easing the stress and uncertainty. I was allowed to be involved in all of the appointments which was a huge bonus. Our 2nd child was born a few months ago and due to covid 19, the restriction didn't allow me to be involved as much. That wasn't a big deal as the friendships my wife had made during our first experience with the midwife, really put her at ease for the 2nd. It almost felt like she was visiting a friend for advice and help rather than a midwife. Both experiences were exceptional and we would highly recommend Community Care Midwifes to anyone looking for support during their pregnancy.

I am a first time mother and had such anxiety about what I should expect out of my delivery. My birth did not go to my original plan but the intelligent and strongly compassionate women who's care I was honoured to be in never faltered. I am soo grateful for the support these amazing women provided me with. I highly recommend Community Care Midwives as they went above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience possible.

Each appointment feels personal and they connect with you throughout the entire experience so that by the time you deliver you feel like they are family. The time and memories are deeply cherished. I have four children and this is my second child delivered by midwives. The overall experience with midwives was more personal, enjoyable, relaxed, memorable, and you feel like you have more of a choice in the process from beginning to end of pregnancy, because they don't just tell you what is considered to be best based on a general medical knowledge, but they also give you all options available to you and do not pressure you to choose one way or the other. That matters a great deal.

The level of care a support I received through both my births was exceptional. With my first midwife supported birth, Team 2 helped me navigate the birth trauma I experienced with my first delivery. They were able to ease my mind and were beyond attentive and patient with me. With my second pregnancy assisted by the midwives at Community Care Midwives, they helped and supported me through my high risk pregnancy despite being a transfer of care to an OB. It was still able to lean on them for support & they took over my care after delivery to continue my postpartum 6 week journey. The team at Community Care Midwives is extremely supportive and knowledgeable in their field. 10/10 would recommend.
