I worked with Brenda today and was very disappointed. Immediately before helping me she gave an elderly man a hard time because he was struggling to get his mask on and then when i went to her booth to deposit 5k in loose cash she gave me a hard time for not knowing the exact amount. She didnt want to count my money and insisted i fill out a book which i hadn't had to fill out in my past 5 years of business. She said she didnt understand what kind of business owner wouldnt know the exact amount he is depositing. Essentially demeaning a customer who is about to put a significant amount of money in her financial institution. Are you kidding me? Be grateful im putting money in your bank and treat me with respect. Dont question my credentials as a business owner and do your job counting money. Im considering moving my business financial account to a different bank.

ZERO STAR!! Came in person to the branch to inquire about my checking account I opened online as customer service request me to do so when I phoned them TO GET MY QUESTIONS ANSWERED IN THE BRANCH. I was surprised by the teller and the manager misinformation. the teller name was Naha if I recall correctly. She tells me incorrect information about the promotion of my checking account. She said you only have 10 days to meet the condition of the promotion. Then, I asked to close my account, but she said you need to pay the closing fees lol. I refused and then called for the manager who is also oblivious about the correct information of the promotion but to be fair she agreed to get my account canceled with no fees after a little discussion. Then I checked the CIBC website and searched for the promotion conditions and found that I have 40 days left to fulfill the conditions not 10 days! I confronted both them with the information but they do not want to admit their mistake in conveying WRONG information. I would have closed my account because of their ignorance!! CIBC you need to step up your game and educate your staff. Staff should educate and answer customer questions not the vice versa. What a waste of time!! will never comeback

A corner convenient store has better customer service than CIBC and this branch. A appointment is not honored, then the manager does not call you. You complain to the head office, they don't respond. Client Care asks the manager to call the customer, the branch manager doesn't call. Personal, I think the PM will call you but not a CIBC branch manager. It is dangerous for them to call. Stay away from CIBC

The security guard at this location, Yied, is the best I have ever had the privilege of coming across in my life. He goes above and beyond to help not only myself, but each individual customer. He does his best to make sure all of the customers needs have been met prior to leaving the bank. It is my belief that Yied should be training the new hires and helping to teach how customers not only expect to be treated, but simply how to go above and beyond for each individual everytime and easily have them walking out of the location with a genuine smile on their face. There is good employees and there are great employees. Yied definitely is one of the great employees. I think it would be a huge loss to the company if they chose to not give him the praise he deserves and pay he deserves. I think that this company can capitalize on his customer service skills. By that I mean, I think it would help both the company and employee at the same time if they had Yied teaching the new hires how to make customers feel appreciated and how to use his skills as new company standards...Not to mention all the happy customers this would create!! This man is a hard worker and has great customer service, it would be a shame if the company chose not to do anything to keep him happy and use his skills to their advantage while they have the opportunity to do so. Yied, you are an amazing employee and I think you have a very bright future ahead of you. Truly. Keep up the good work :)

This place is not what's up. Even the ATM is incompetent. Search for another institution. If you're already a CIBC customer, I highly recommend utilizing the services of a different branch.

A payment in cash takes to days to process ??? Then they told me to call CIBC line for them to release the money?? Its CASH !!! how much more verification you need ?? Every transaction with this institution is painful, I deal with ATB, TD and Scotia. No other bank has such painful process.

Not sure if bank manager is aware. But Syed Omer is operating his business matters in his bank office. Arranging meetings with contractors at the bank office. On top of that he is also arranging personal meetings (not related to the bank) in his office. Bank should definitely look into this! Super unprofessional. If youre dealing with syed omer might as well switch your bank. Might get better service. Also dont lend any money to him if he proposes any personal business ideas. He is a big time scammer!!!

CIBC is by far the worst bank to deal with. Save yourself the time, hassle, and effort. Go to ANYWHERE else. Thieves at best. CIBC are absolutely the worst. Long Lines. Bad Customer Service. Employees that sign you up for financial items that you don't need or want. They just want the % from getting the account. Long Lines, Bad Customer Service, and employees pulling rotten things on your account
