Gateway Veterinary Centre is a full service canine and feline hospital in Edmonton. Our facility is easily accessible by Whitemud Drive, Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail roads and we are close to LA fitness, Whitemud Crossing, VCA Calgary Trail. We are open late on the weekdays and we are 7 days a week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My pup and family had a great experience for a first time visit here at Gateway Vet Centre! Called in for an appointment asap and they were able to accommodate us that same evening. Regardless if the clinic is the busy or long wait time, the staff remained friendly and polite and also were very diligent on updating us. Definitely recommend this place! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing clinic. My cat required emergency surgery last weekend, the emergency 24 hour clinic could only do it for an outrageous price that was not within a price point I could afford. It was seeming I was going to have no choice but to euthanize him but we called every vet we could and this is the only place that even called us back. They got back to us before they opened. Even on a Sunday they got him in right away. Boris required a gastrointestinal surgery. Due to the seriousness of his internal injuries and the type of problems his chance of survival was very low, maybe 20%. With a little bit of luck and amazing care from this clinic I got to bring my cat home today after 6 days of care from them. All staff were incredibly kind, caring, empathetic. I was invited to visit Boris every other day, could stay as long as I wanted. They called with daily updates on his condition. Price was VERY reasonable! I absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone! They saved my cats life and I am so thankful for everyone at Gateway Veterinary Centre!

We recently brought our little one in for dental work and with previous clinics her demeanor was off when we brought her home from day surgery or the latter. Not here! That goes to show something. Hands down we will return to Gateway Veterinarian Clinic for all of our pets. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, AND THANK YOU FOR TREATING OUR LOVED ONES AS FAMILY AS WE DO!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought my cat Buddy here for his end of life care. The doctors were very clear and kind explaining all of my options regarding his renal failure. When it came time to say goodbye, the staff were very gracious and caring. Both doctors were superb. My bills were less than I expected, very reasonable. Thank you Gateway Vet Centre, I truly appreciate your work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been taking both of our dogs here since a little before June of last year and I am so happy we found this place! The team is wonderful. We never feel rushed, they always answer every one of our questions, and they teach animal care with empathy and understanding. This team really loves the work they do, and you can tell. We have a senior dog who's constantly needing treatment so we're in here a lot. Recently he had his dental done and then we had to get him fluids a month later. They held him and snuggled him and gave us updates and even gave him an extra blanket to keep him cozy. My other dog is a recent rescue and reactive. A staff member got down on his level and did some fun commands with him to get him comfortable. It made me so happy that he was able to have positive experiences with people outside our home in a safe space. I never feel like I'm annoying when I'm double checking and asking questions. There's so much respect here. I cannot say enough good things about this place.
