Dr. Mohamed is a 1997 graduate, she worked in the poultry industry for 5 years before she moved to Canada. After moving to Canada in 2011, she went through the process to obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in Canada.
The Veterinary profession is her passion, and just as it gives her a sense of fulfillment, she gives herself to her patients wholeheartedly. According to Dr. Mohamed, every day is a chance to learn something new and to do work worth being proud of.
There’s nothing Dr. Mohamed won’t do to help an animal. She goes to the ends of the earth for her patients, and she gladly works. Her goal is simple: “treat my patients as if they are my own”. To Dr. Mohamed, the most important aspect of her career is the care of her patients. Dr. Mohamed believes that pets are like people, and they deserve the same compassion. By ensuring that her patients are comfortable, she can provide better care in a safer, more comfortable environment.
In her spare time, she likes cooking for their lovely friend’s gatherings with her husband and her 3 kids, as well as reading and traveling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Basha was AMAZING when I brought my lab in to get her eye checked out after some shenanigans caused irritation. He was great with her, and despite the irrigation and eye stain she went through, she was a happy girl throughout the appointment. They are not my regular vet, but they got us in quickly and were very accommodating. Would definitely go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was told that the cost of getting a rabies vaccination is simply $30. I booked an appointment and after getting the shot, I was charged for an examination fee as well. Meaning my total was almost $130. Considering I just moved and have been hit with so many unexpected costs, I really could not afford this unexpected $90 that I was not informed of. Instead, it had to come out of my budget for food. Meaning I will now be starving until payday at the end of the month. This place is a scam and will add on charges without informing you beforehand and force you to pay them, even when it means life or death. Do not come here. They do not care about you or your pets clearly. I am now crying outside of their clinic and screwed for this month because of their shadiness and inability to be transparent about their fees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend coming here! They have so much compassion for animals and actually care not like other vets! My dog got into a huge dog fight and was brutely ripped opened and DR BASHA took us in asap open emergency and stayed late to help my fur baby out. I called 10 other vets and they could care less about my dogs emergency. When I came in to this vet they took me right away and didn’t push any extra stuff or needles or vaccines and just tended to helping my dog out and stapling him shut and taking care of him. Highly recommend. The prices are extremely good too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My pooch has been coming here for a long time, and loves all the staff. He’s had some sedative surgery and some not so fun experiences, but you can tell he loves everyone who works here. Dr. Basha is excellent and will take the time to explain things so that you understand and don’t have any more questions. Highly recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is great. Dr. Basha was very caring and friendly. We had to euthanize one of our cats, and the support and care by all the staff was overwhelming. They really made it a lot more comfortable for us, even though it was an extremely difficult day for us. They accommodated us in emergencies, even when we didn’t have an appointment. We have been to the clinic with other animals too, and every time it’s a good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great experience the first time coming. Went again for a simple check up and it was a complete waste of my time and money. The vet (different vet from my first experience) acted like she had never seen a large dog before(I have a St.Bernard) I understand that she is a large dog but she loves people and all other vets I have been to have loved her. The vet couldn't even look at her ears or teeth, as soon as my dog moved once the vet gave up and kept moving away from her. There was also some trouble trying to cut her nails. It didn't go well but that I understood to just be lack of experience. When I went to another vet the same day we cut her nails not problem in like 5mins. They just have more techniques that worked great for my dog. Over all this vet is best for small animals only, or very simple tasks.
