I am very surprised and sad to see how rude, arrogant and unsure the tellers were in this branch. My encounter with Kristine was really unpleasant . She spoke to me in a tone so loud and rude like as if I'm being punished for something when all I wanted was some clarification regarding my account. When I came back home all that was running in my mind was to change my bank as I don't want to face anymore unpleasant people who have no idea of what they are doing. My suggestion to the HR of CIBC- Please hire staff that have a customer friendly approach, not a racist and knows how to do their job. Very bad experience.

Cannot express strongly enough how disappointed I am with CIBC. I am a small business owner who utilizes the business wicket one to two times a month for business transactions. Apparently a new CIBC policy for 2020 is that from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm the business window is closed. That’s terrific for the employee taking a lunch break but unfortunately most business people don’t have bankers hours. I cannot understand why during that time if a business person needs assistance why another teller can’t provide that service. That really is the whole issue. Customer Service - this is non-existent at CIBC. Most business people don’t care for small talk. That’s NOT customer service. Customer Service is getting your customers served in a timely fashion. If you are in business time is money. If I provided the same “customer service” that CIBC does I wouldn’t be in business. Going forward we will be switching banks. Have been putting up with sub par service for way too long.

I have dealt with this branch of CIBC for more than a decade. I've always found their staff very friendly and helpful, no matter how busy they are. Yes, sometimes it does get very busy especially with the changes they had to make with covid. I recently moved and really miss doing my banking there.

1 teller working and 15 people in line. Tellers can’t do the basic math!!!! I would give you 0 for customer service if I could!

A teller told me my visa wouldn’t work in the United States because I didn’t have a “USA card”. My visa worked just fine. Kind of concerning they don’t have proper information on basic subjects such as that.

The hours are very lacking the only way I can see a teller is on a Saturday. I’ve had visits where they tell me they can’t do a single thing for me cause “the system is down”, but go ahead and drive to the next branch across the city and they can help. Of all the major banks I’ve dealt with This cIBc is the worst one.

Standing in business line 25 minutes while your business clerk serving non business client. It's 1:27 pm. It's business teller hours. People around me extremely frustrated with service.Also only one teller for regular banking. People leaving because they can't wait that long!!!
