A few weeks ago I got a phone call about a new credit card offer ... 3% cashback and no annual fee ... it was not done still by today(even though they said they're gonna let me know in 5 days), so i called many places all day (credit center, and banks) to find out the status. then they finally emailed me forms to sign, but it was totally different than what we talked about a few weeks ago. It was for a card that was 4% cash back and 99$ annual fee after a year. They did nothing to try and get the one we originally talked about, they just tried to offer me this new one. so i had to cancel. It was a second mistake/miscommunication with same employee. I let them do my credit check and things for this offer and it was all for nothing. This is the worst bank experience.

Very bad teller service, especially one of gold hair woman sit in the front desk teller (beware her). I have considering cancel CIBC account and move to Scotia Bank nearby.

This bank has the worst management & mortgage advisors... don't bother with this location. They only serve rich ppl here. They are very rude and doesn't even want to talk much if you dont have much money. The security guard is also messed up. How can you complain about me for standing too far during covid. Your "stand here" sticker are only 50cm-1m apart, where as the law states much be at least 2m. So the manager heard me arguing with the security lady that she is violating covid rules. The manager just pulled me aside and told me not to argue because securities are outsourced and they have no authorities over them, but she has to authority to remove me from the building for disobeying their rules and recommended my to finish whatever I need to do in his office and dont confront the security. This bank is just ridiculous.

Joke of a bank. Had a disagreement with the financial advisor over mistaken fees for which she said she couldnt revert them. Later the branch manager is able to get some of the fees back. Both of them had such horrendous and condescending attitude. Dont do your banking here. Ive switched to TD after this experience.

The teller here at 1:00pm today was extremely rude to my mom. She had the time to chit chat with her colleague after each transaction but did not have the patience to explain to my mom about her account. My mom rarely banks with CIBC due to their service. I was with my mom today who is an older woman. It was as if every question my mom asked was a wrong question. And it was as if we owed CIBC something, as if we were wasting their time. My mom was trying to do a transaction that she typically does at TD. When my mom mentioned "Oh are you sure you cannot do this, because I do it regularly at TD", the teller told my mom to "Go to TD then". I understand every bank has their different policies but does customer service vary this much between branches/bank? My main issue with this branch is that they are condescending to their customers. Even when we were called up to the teller desk, the teller was still talking to her colleague for 30 seconds while we were waiting in front of her. The teller never greeted us. Because the employees *thinks* that the customer has no other choice, they don't care to keep up their customer service. I tried to call into the branch shortly after to speak to the manager, however nobody picks up the phone at the branch and I went to voicemail. This is concerning because I do not know the next time my mom goes to CIBC alone, how she will be bullied or who will take care of her interests when it comes to her investments and other financial services. I'm shocked by this experience.

I have been to this branch 4 or 5 times now. At various times of the day and on various days. They are constantly under staffed and therefore the service is extremely slow. The girl who works the front is amazing with trying to help but the reality is they simply need more staff. And sadly I have never once seen the branch manager there trying to help her staff with the growing line.
