Chop Steakhouse & Bar - Edmonton

Chop in general has a great atmosphere, and this location is no different. The professionalism of the staff was top notch as well, though during the particularly busy period that I attended the frequency of service suffered a bit. While the food was good, the portion size of the steak was noticeably smaller from what was advertised. That said, the sides were fantastic, very flavorful. Overall, it was a fine experience.

Dinner put was delicious everyone loved their meals. The serving staff was super friendly. Would highly recommend going and we will definitely be back.

Always have loved chop, although I’ve not been to this location in a few years. I took my mother here today for what I expected to be Mother’s Day brunch and was quite disappointed. (And was her first time out since before covid) Prior to booking the reservation, I called and the call taker had me on hold for quite a few minutes to confirm that yes, they would be having Mother’s Day brunch. I booked 2 weeks prior to Mother’s Day. Upon arrival, they did not have brunch nor did they have any Mother’s Day specials. Just regular lunch menu (which was super underwhelming and disappointing). I had also noted in the reservation I made on open table, that we required a table or a half booth (as my mother cannot fit comfortable in booths) and upon arrival they immediately took us to a booth resulting in my mom feeling embarrassed as I then explained the note I had made and luckily they did have an open table in the dining room which they moved us to. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which had zero spice to it at all with an old looking, wilted salad accompanied by lipstick on my water glass. Our entrees took over 25 minutes to come out, which was quite surprising as it wasn’t busy. I have to say, I was incredibly disappointed paying a $140 bill thinking I was taking my mom to a high class dining experience for Mother’s Day, when really it was comparable to going to Boston pizza or similar. My mother had prime rib and a few mimosas as well as crab cakes and a cheese cake and SHE was happy, so that’s the only thing that really matters. But I really wish I took her somewhere nicer, and I won’t be going back. Service was good, server doesn’t make the food and didn’t take the call or the reservation so can’t blame them!

Was here in June 2021, forgot to leave a review. I was staying in Edmonton for a week, and I ended up trying CHOP during one of those days. Amazing staff, friendly service. Great pricing, was there on the patio where they had a special menu. I loved the portion sizes, I was able to try many dishes. Definitely had a great time, will definitely be back as well. Thank you for serving us during these times. ❤️

My husband and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary at Chop Steakhouse & Bar and it was amazing!! They went out of their way to make us feel special and even included candles, a card with gift and dessert!. We celebrated Valentines, Mothers Day and our Birthdays this spring and keep coming back as the staff are so friendly and attentive and the food is AMAZING!! We tend to go for our usual Prime Rib because it is soooooo tender with a choice of side and an amazing vegetable blend! The Charity Bread is also a nice touch and we love that it goes towards a meal for the hungry. What's not to love about this place?! If you haven't tried it yet, you need to, you wont be disappointed.

Chops never disappoints!! Never! Always on point, clean and the consistency is on point. I highly recommend their steak ? bites, chop burger, avocado blt and salads are yummy. The new truffle fries are a hit! Can be substituted on your meal as well. Keep on meeting and have fun. #chicosreviews76

It is amazing restaurant! Server is so friendly and polite. Food is fantastic and delicious! I and my hubby visited to celebrate my 8th wedding anniversary and they also gave us special card and complimentary dessert for us. I should ask that server name who helped us tonight. He was so excellent for serving food, nice tone of voice, recommendation for food. Everything was perfect. I really recommend chop restaurant!! It was my first time visit but it’s now my one of favorites! Thank you Chop! I’m so pleased to be there.

Excellent food and service! The kids loved the tempura vegetables starter and charity bread, snd raved about their steaks. Offering a steak dinner option on the kids menu for such a reasonable price is genius. We all enjoyed our dinner and the staff helped me celebrate my birthday with a delicious cheesecake. Definitely would go again.
