Care First Medical - Airdrie

?If you have any chronic pain issues then do not come here. I was handed off to a doctors colleague because he was uncomfortable dealing with some of the medications that I’ve been on for quite sometime by two previous doctors that have retired. The one doctors colleague was short and blunt with me, as well as leaving me feeling like I was a criminal because of my medications. Not once was I sent for a X-ray of the painful areas and not once did they physically check the areas. This has gone on for six months. Not impressed at all with the service and left feeling like I was in the wrong, I was also left with the feeling that the front staff was taking behind my back. If I could I would give it a two thumbs down review.

I've suffered from mental illness my entire life, and Dr. Reznikov is BY FAR the best doctor I've ever had. He looks into possible medical diagnosis before just blaming it on anxiety, but when it is anxiety, he is compassionate and super knowledgeable. He is the only doctor who has ever followed up with me to check in. When he isn't available, the other doctors there are great. They even have a councilor on site. So the office isn't pretty and chairs are uncomfortable, but the level of service has been far-beyond any other doctor's office I've experienced before.

My experience at this clinic was the worst experience I have ever had at a clinic. The front end staff were aggressive and rude. The manager stepped into my personal space and spoke in an aggressive rude tone. I was treated less than human. I will never go back.

I wish I wouldn't even rate one star for this place. The staff and doctors are so unempathetic with their patients. Dr. Olusi doesn't even know to read your blood work properly and give a clear explanation on that. He wouldn't even be able to tell if the results had come in as per the requisitions he had provided. I faced many inconveniences and missed my lab appointment because he wasn't able to tell me if the results were in or not. Chantelle, the manager of the place is even worse. When I requested her for a change in doctor after explaining the situation I went through she didn't even bother to examine my situation but instead point blank said very rudely 'I will not change the doctor for you'. She thought I would obey her!! As if she didn't know that people have something called their own freedom to get another doctor for themselves from elsewhere instead of obeying to her rudeness!!! A big applause for her in securing a manager position in a place that works in the healthcare industry!! When I asked if the doctor is able to identify the results that have come in as per requisition or not she said she doesn't know. I asked her a simple question on how their systems work and she didn't know. How pathetic! If you are looking to register with a family doctor in this clinic please look for another place. You wouldn't have a doctor at all instead of having a doctor who have got their licence out of a cracker jack box. I highly recommend AHS to do a review of this place and it's doctors and staff and take action immediately. I am so grateful for the other clinic I am current registered with. The doctor is superb and he doesn't fail to answer all your questions and give a proper diagnosis of everything you need to be concerned about.

Arrived to my appointment on time and was checked in by the receptionist, about 3 minutes later she informs me that the dr i was seeing left for the day since i was his last patient and stated that my appointment was 15 minutes prior to when i actually arrived. Not only did i have the time slot in my phone, my mother who was at my last appointment also has the time slot in her phone. she NEVER messes up times. Thank you to the receptionist who made me feel like it was my fault when you guys messed up on your end. Happy start to 2022 where i am left to stress about my health some more

I have a family member who had called the clinic last week asking to see a doctor as he recently had an asthma attack in the emergency department and needed to follow up with a doctor and also get his prescriptions filled. The clinic told him he needed a covid test which he was got and was negative. And he called the clinic again to see if he could get an appointment. The women on the phone said they did not have any appointments but to call back Monday and see if they have time for a walk in. On Monday, They said they no time for walk ins and they only book appointments for patients who already have a family doctor. My family member with severe asthma now has to present to emergency or find a clinic that will accept him so he can have his inhalers filled (which are vital to his wellbeing). I recognize covid has made things difficult, however turning patients away from community clinics and forcing people to go to emergency to get their essential medical care is putting excess strain on the health are system. The staff here were not helpful and not sympathetic. If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give NO stars, I would. I called to see if I could make an appointment as I fear I have an ear infection. I was told, "Oh, that is a symptom of Covid so we can't see you." SERIOUSLY!!!??? So is a runny nose, a fever, a cough...are you turning those people away too? It is an ear infection...they still exist...just like a everyday cold or flu. I would NEVER recommend this place. I ended up going to London Drugs and speaking with the pharmacist, told her my story and she, and her staff, were shocked that this is what happened. Shame on you Care First Medical!

Horrible place. If you go here, I'd recommend switching to a different place. I had to go to urgent care last week and they diagnosed me with a bladder infection. I had also been bleeding nonstop for months, so urgent care told me to book an appointment with a family doctor. I called in to book, and when I mentioned my lower right intermittent abdominal pain, the receptionist cut me off and insisted that it was COVID. Why did she think she had the right to diagnose me over the phone, over ONE symptom? She kept insisting it was COVID around 6 times and rudely interrupting me until I finally told her I had to go to urgent care and they said it was a bladder infection. She had such a stinky attitude and I have never felt that judged by a medical center in my life over one single symptom. They also switch doctors often like they're Pokemon cards which gives me a bad feeling. I'd honestly go anywhere but here at this point. Edit : She said my appointment was on “Thursday” so I came in on Thursday on the week she booked mine. When I got there, I was then told that my appointment was actually NEXT Thursday, but the lady did not clarify anything of the sort. It is ridiculous that incompetent and disorganized people are allowed to work at this medical center.
