About Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes - Airdrie
Inspired by the legendary fries on the world famous Ocean City Boardwalk and founded in 1981 by brothers Dave and Fran DiFerdinando, Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes invokes memories of summertime on the Boardwalk. Dave and Fran, like many other vacationers, had vacationed there as children and would come every summer to enjoy the rides and the legendary fries. They had the idea to make those famous fries accessible to everyone around the country, not just those at the beach, so they began Boardwalk Fries. We still prepare fries in the same great way – a special recipe and lightly salted – piping hot and made to order.
Soon after we created the world’s best fries, customers started asking for new menu items so we added an enhanced selection with only the best ingredients – fresh, never frozen hand-made burgers, creamy Canadian dairy shakes, sweet potato fries, poutine, veggie burgers, chicken options and so much more! And… Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes was born!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One staff took order then cooked meal. Friendly! Food cooked great. Real beef. Burgers thick. One Large fries fed 3 of us. Kids meal great. No toy which is usually a waste anyway but food great. Burger pretty big. Two kids cld share. Fries included were big.
Store clean. Bathroom clean. Sanitizer avail.

I think customer service is a little lacking because the cashier didn't listen very well and made only 2 of our meals a combo and my daughter never got any fries, so we had to split our fries so she could have some. The grilled chicken sandwich was so salty that it was almost inedible. We also got 3 milkshakes that were completely melted by the time we got our order. Maybe it would be a good idea to make those last so they don't melt and they can be enjoyed with the meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying this place. The burger had quite a lot of meat so that was good. Fries were great but could have been a better selection- felt I got the tail end of the bag. Ordering was a little awkward: cashier AND chef basically staring at me as I try to navigate the menu lol. After ordering I see a sign that had my order but a little cheaper. I wish the cashier could have just directed me to that knowing I'm ordering basically the same thing. I'm undecided if I'll be back.
