I wish I can give a zero but it is not an option. I had the worst experience with the store manager Ellen. On the same day I spoke to customer service to return a closet and they stated that it was still under warranty and even if I don’t have a receipt and have a the Canadian tire MasterCard I am eligible for a store credit and I was completely fine with that. When I came at around 8 pm today March 22 2021 I came by taxi because the closet is big and when I arrived Ellen came looked at us and was like I won’t return this, how can she judge that she can’t return it without knowing any information or seeing the card. She then was like give me the product number and she was like okay I’ll return it for store credit and we were like okay good, she then was like this product is discontinued I can’t return it. She continued being impolite and she then just left customer service. she simply said I won’t return this take it and leave. She left without having anything resolved or agreeing with anything she just left us standing. We wanted to discuss further because she had no valid reason to not return it and we spent money to bring the closet to the store and she wanted us to just simply leave. We left the closet inside by the door because I wasn’t gonna take it back and we are going tomorrow to see if we can resolve this issue and for sure going to speak with the owner because Ellen was very disrespectful. She did not even say SORRY SHE JUST LEFT. From her actions she seems like a lazy lady who doesn’t want to find the receipt and return it. Here is the picture of the closet just being left there because there was no other option cause of her laziness. This review is simply for Ellen I don’t care about anything else just the disrespect, impoliteness and customer service that I got from Ellen.

It's an Everything plus Hardware (sort of) store. ... and very Canadian. When you need parts or fluids for your car, think this place. Then when you need a new fry pan, or coffee machine, it's here. And that Sports equipment for the kids game... Yep. It's an Everything stop. This location looses points for narrow aisles and a bit cluttered look, but it is well stocked, and the staff level was pretty good. The floor staff were not really knowledgeable about where things are but wanted to help.

Worst auto shop in the area. My old car needed a replacement on the brakes. They quoted me hundreds of dollars more than what the other auto shops in the area charged. Last but not least, their customer service is extremely rude. The older the staff is, the more rude they'll be. That's the only thing that you'll be guaranteed. UPDATE (Apr 15, 2022): The owner responded to my comment & provided a phone number but it's incredibly confusing as to how to get to their customer service line. I wasn't even able to get through to any representative. Still disappointed; would change to 0/5 stars if possible.

Long story short: very busy shop, almost zero help if you visit during weekends. I shopped here regularly, here is what happened last Sunday: There were 2 mistake on my online order, I brought to the Customer Service. The girl responded "I can't find it in our system, I can't do anything about it!" I explained it is Canadian Tire's fault, the girl responded "I can't find it in our system, I can't do anything about it!". I responded that "It is Canadian Tire's mistake, please find a way to solve it." The girl stopped helping me without saying anything, and she went to work on something else without letting me know. After a 3 mins pause, the store manager came. She remember what happened to my order. Manager didn't not understand what I was saying, but she found a solution anyways. My orders' problem were resolved by refunding the whole order. What happened to my order was: There is a wait time of 1 month for 1 of the 2 items in my order, then the 2 mistakes on my order are: #1. I asked to cancel Item#1 3 weeks ago, but they didn't cancel it because item #1 Canadian Tire has in stock. Canadian Tire claimed they called me, but I never received phone calls. Maybe my phone # is wrong in the profile, or maybe because of other reasons. For this reason, Canadian Tire marked item#1 was "Picked Up". #2. The item #2 on my order required 1 month wait time, Canadian Tire couldn't get the stock on time, so they automatically canceled my item#2 on my order without notified me. Because of the issue of my order, I visited the store to ask why? The first response I got was "It is already done, it is not in Canadian Tire's computer system. I can not do anything about it!" This is very irresponsible. In the end, I could get helped on my order (for getting what I needed on time), and the simple solution was "refund you your money". My time was wasted, but who cares? I would simply seeking other places to find the item I needed 2 weeks ago if Canadian Tire can just send me an email or update the correct information on my order's online status.

This is for their curbside pickup. Ordered item online for curbside pickup and it was ready same day. I went same day, parked in the stall and hit the I'm Here button in their email. Waited 20 minutes with the status still showing no one had reviewed the order. I was the only person in curbside pickup. I tried calling their number, let it rang for 2 minutes without any answer. Finally got a hold of a sales associate on the floor and they were able to get things in motion. Normally I would just go into the store and sort it out, but I had a sleeping child in my car and didn't want to wake them up to go in.

Terrible experience at the automative department with my rear brake replacement. After replacing the brake pads, calipers, and rotors, my rotors started glazing up (see the photo). I showed them the picture and they redid the brakes. After another 3-4 weeks, the brakes started seizing up and I had my car slowing down even when I was going downhill. This time it was not as bad as the first time, though. But it was obvious that the brakes were poorly done and they smelled horribly every time I arrived home. I took it back and explained what has been happening however I couldn’t have taken a picture of the terrible smell of my rear brakes and this time the manager’s behavior was really dismissive and unprofessional. His name was Insuk Lee. Even though this was the second time happening to my car, he had no compassion and his attitude was condescending and inconsiderate. He even accused me of β€œriding on the brakes to heat them up” and at that point that was it for me. I took my car to Honda to replace the brakes and their technician told me the ones Canadian Tire had used were cheap and low quality. NEVER GOING BACK THERE and DO NOT recommend the automotive department to anyone.

I've only been in this store 3 times, but compared to other Canadian tires I've been in on the Surrey side, this place is great! I'm used to being ignored in Surrey! I sometimes wonder if I passed away in one of the aisles whether any employee would find me. I almost always have the impression that I'm an imposition to employees if I ask a question (I'm in CT at least once every week). In Coquitlam, I had a guy cheerfully show me exactly where an item was. I had a nice conversation with a friendly teller. Just a much better feeling in this store. I think I'll drive the extra 10 minutes to take my business there from now on.

Always a line up here, no matter the time/ day. If you’re in a hurry, this is not the place for you. It is a relatively small store vs the others out there, but the selection is quite big. I would confirm availability of items via online store selector before coming. LOTS of things are sold out usually. I have always received great service, so no complaints there. 4 stars because of the wait, otherwise 5.
