They will not let you in with a bag, especially if you're male. They expect you to leave it at the cash with teenagers to guard it. This is a policy placed by the individual store. The greeter only asked my boyfriend, not I, despite us carrying the same type of bag. He had insulin in his bag. The sign is high and to the left on a cluttered board when you walk in. The manager told me to come back so he "could point out the big sign he sees every day". Of course he sees it every day, he works there and knows it's there lol. What customer stands there and inspects all signs once they're already in the store? If you call and complain about their horrible policies they will put you on speakerphone for all employees to hear. This was an action taken by the male manager whom i spoke to. (it's audible when you do this, by the way!) I found what I needed in the garden center of the store next door anyway. There's literally no need to ever return to this store, and I won't be.

Spent over $400, was in a rush and forgot to get wiper blades(another $50) so I quickly backed into a spot and ran in to get them. When I came out I realized that I had accidentally parked in a curbside pick up and this is the note an employee had left on my window. Aggressive and disturbing. Never returning.

I honestly dislike coming here...learned that the second time around. My first time buying car seats, I had to beg to redeem my points, even willing to show my ID but wouldn't. This time I tried to return a gift I bought my parents but refused to return my product (even though it wasn't open) and they could only give me a credit or buy something else because the box didn't have zip ties that tied the two boxes together. Never had any issues with any other stores. Could be an Oshawa thing but I'm sticking to the stores that truly value customer service. Never had issues in Port Perry or Lindsay or other areas for that matter but this location.

Worst oil change experience ever! I went in at 12pm as a walk-in to get an oil change done. the advisor told me that because I'm a walk-in you'd have to wait and it takes approximately 2-3 hours for the car to be ready but realistically it won't take more than 2 hours. I hand my keys and come back at 2:45pm as I hadn't heard anything from them but i see my car in the shop left alone with no one working on it and the shop did not look busy at all. I have worked in different mechanic shops myself so i know. at 2:45pm they tell me they still haven't even started the job! finally when it was done it was 4pm. an oil change is a 0.4hr job. I used to do transmission re and re in 4 hours. during the waiting process i purchased some car air fresheners and paid on the other side of the store and when I was about to leave the cashier (young teenage girl with purple colored hair) suspects me of stealing the $5 air freshener and doesn't let me leave until i show proof of purchase. really? they waste my time (steal my time in a sense) then they accuse you of stealing a $5 air freshener. these are the type of people work here! no work ethic and zero customer service etiquette.

I went into the auto service centre recently to have a leak repaired and left my car with them. They called me up and told me just a few clamps were needed and it would cost $xxx.xx to fix. I authorized the repair and waited for them to call to tell me when they were done. When they called back, they told me they did the clamp replacements but that another issue was found and now it would cost me a huge amount more to fix and I would have to wait two weeks for the part to come in. I told them not to proceed further and I went in and paid the bill for their "repair" that essentially did nothing. Two days later, I went to a DEALERSHIP and they were able to actually fix the problem completely on the SAME DAY and at a FRACTION of what this place wanted to charge me. Quite a shock, since one would think that a dealership would charge more. I simply won't return to this place for anything else. They lost me as a customer at Gibb Street for charging me money for a "diagnostic" that didn't diagnose the real problem and a "repair" that was useless. Will I go back to the dealership for any future repairs, though? You bet I will.

The store was filthy and congested. Lots of product on the floor And returned items in the middle of the hardware isle. I bought an Irwin hammer that was labeled 39.99 But it rang up as 49.99. I didn’t notice until I got my car that they charged me 49.99. I returned to the store to check the tag and the hammer that was in the peg. when I returned to the store they immediately took the hammer from me and gave it to the service desk. I took a picture of the peg and label and the hammers. And went back to the service desk to get my 11$ back. Their only response was to shake their head at me and refused to help me. My only option was to return the hammer. At this time they began to patronize me and deny that there was any issue. make sure you check your items when you check out because I’m sure they mess up on merchandising the store due to all the chaotic isles and junk on the floor.

I wanted to buy paint and get my car repaired. I didn't get past the greeter. The store employee wouldn't allow me and my toddler in with my purse . I found a great paint place located across the plaza. As for my car, I will wait for my regular mechanic to be available. My child didn't understand why the store wouldn't let us shop in the store. I don't understand either. We were dressed nice and were respectful. We didn't deserve to be discriminated against.

This is for the automotive department. Went for a OIL CHANGE . It the additional issue of a tire issue. What did they do? Charged $114 to run the code (it was about low tire pressure, which I told them about) and told me I had to spend nearly $200 for a new battery. What didn't they do? The oil change! I had to wait more than 3 hours for them to put a bit of air in the tire and read the code! And then they didn't do what I wanted them to do. Used to be they were my go to place for car repair but now I will never go back.
