If you know what you need and it is on a shelf that a normal human can reach this particular location is ok. For us, it took multiple requests and 20 minutes to get someone to pull the item we wanted from an extremely high shelf.

Waiting waiting ... I waited almost 35-40 mins to pick up a stuff. Worst experience ever. Disorganized. The stuff are lazy & not well trained. I will never order here for curb side pick up. Ordered 2 things 1 of them was canceled after waiting 1 week for it. ???

Canadian Tire has no idea how warranties work. How do we need to pay more because we were sold a faulty product?? You raised the price so you don’t need to fully honour a warranty?? You realize that’s how scams work, right?

Management does not care about their employees. I worked there for a month and a half and was let go without a reason given while I was in and out of the hospital and dealing with mental health issues. Gossip runs rampant and there is miscommunication between management staff and employees. They do not provide safety equipment for moving heavy/large items around the store. I purchased my own gloves and other tools to avoid getting several pinches/cuts/injuries during employment without reimbursement. It's a good thing I maintained good relationships with my past employer managers at the Home Depot and can get my job back there, they were wonderful to work for and the pay is better. I used to shop here a lot as it's 5 minutes from my house, but based on my knowledge of how they run the place having worked there, I will not be shopping here anymore. UPDATE: April 30th 2022 I phoned the number that was provided in the "reply from owner" response to my review, and it was the Triangle Rewards phone line. Another example of miscommunication and not caring for employees.

I brought my Nissan van to Canadian tire in Whitby due to starting the vehicle and the wipers were on. there was some ice on windshield and Unfortunately the wipers stopped working. Yes it was not one of my proudest moments.. lol They took my vehicle in quite quickly but when the gentleman in the front told me that i needed a wiper motor and wiper linkage arms and that it would cost over $1000.00 I was confused as i could clearly hear the motor going back and forth. I understand the linkage as that would make sense. When i questioned it they told me that is what is needed and did i want it done or not. Thankfully they did not have the parts in stock so i was able to have another shop look at it for a second opinion. I called after hours and cancelled them from ordering parts and continuing with repair the same night. Long story short I left and took it to another mechanic shop and was told I only needed the wiper linkage arms. DID NOT NEED THE WIPER MOTOR. Surprise, surprise. I saved over $600.00 It pains me to write this review, I really do not enjoy putting down any business. But that is the last time i will use Canadian Tire auto repairs. I was told by the second mechanic that it was impossible for the mechanic at CT to not see that the wiper motor that cost over $600 was not needed. Leads me to believe that there was intent to rip me off. I'm not a happy camper. I have the estimate from CT and the bill from the new mechanic as proof. If needed I will be happy to post them. My first 1star review.. Grrrrrr thanks CT for making me write this.

Think twice about bringing your vehicle to this shop. My senior parents went in there in an emergency (unbeknownst to me) to have two tires swapped out. The vehicle came back to their hotel with a giant brake fluid leak that wasn’t there prior to the tire swap out. They lied to me telling me they saw nothing of the sort while the vehicle was there for over 24+ hours. Please tell me how you miss a giant fluid leak on the floor of your shop. They refused to let me speak to the service manager. This place is poorly run. The woman on the phone was ridiculously rude to me. She told me it’s very common to have a brake fluid leak after tires are swapped out…(what????) They refuse to help my parents in any sort of way. They are now stranded out in Whitby, when they live 4 hours out of town. I am absolutely disgusted with Canadian Tire. That shop is run by Ageists, and poorly-trained technicians. The nickname β€œcrappy tire” holds true.

I had to take this time to acknowledge this exceptional customer service moment from Evan in seasonal. I had been looking for a gazebo for several weeks and Evan had taken some additional steps to ensure I received my order on time. His colleague Soli was also very helpful loading it into my truck. One of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. What a great team here in Whitby! Regards.

Situated on the south side of Consumers Dr at Garden Ave, this Canadian Tire has lots of parking and wheelchair access. Vehicle repair services are on site. Inside are the usual offerings for vehicle repairs, tools, paints, housewares, home decor items, and outdoors and sporting goods. The store seems somehow smaller than others and thus has less stock. Didn't find what I wanted although it said on line there were items in stock. Still a great place to browse or shop.
