I went in to return a battery yesterday and had fantastic service from the person working at the parts counter, they tested my battery and worked very hard and contacted the manager on duty to see what could be done for me due to some complications I had. I was extremely impressed with the service and felt very well taken care of, the staff at this location that I interacted with were all very kind and friendly and I will be shopping at this location from now on!

It's your typical Canadian Tire. The store has everything and lots of it. The stock has been really good, especially considering the supply chain issues currently happening. Been to several CT, and this one often has much more stock than others. Staff have been nothing short of excellent! Edit:. The reason I have 4 stars was, the aisles are rather cramped and it's hard to navigate the store due to the sheer amount of items on the floor. THIS IS THE ONLY REASON!!!!

Canadian Tire is an essential for most of us, in general, for anything home/auto related. However customer service will always be the differentiator. A few nights ago, I popped in because I just got a used vehicle for a commuter, and one of the screws holding the license plate was rusted. So I went to this location, and proceeded to take out the screw in their parking lot, hoping to take it inside and buy a new one. Unfortunately either because it was stripped or the rust caused too much damage; I wasn't able to remove it. So I went inside, now looking for some double-sided 3M or other, so my plate wouldn't rattle as much and possibly loosen the other good screw. Ran into the (new) General Manager, Steve - upon describing what I was after, he was kind to lend me one of their own flathead screwdrivers, so I could try prying the screw out from behind, while simultaneously unscrewing with my Phillips. He could have just proceeded to sell me additional products like the 3M, but he recognized that long term that wouldn't be the best solution. I appreciate that he went out of his way to understand what was happening and try to help me out. He even had some extra packaging zip ties in his office, which he gave me two so I could zip the bottom holes of my plate as a temporary solution. He shared that he is new to the location, and I have to say.. if this is the way he leads by example, I truly feel this location will thrive under his leadership. Definitely exudes customer service and empathy. Keep it up Steve; and thanks again!

Wide variety of products at decent prices. What shines are the workers, specifically Greg from automotive. Friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Helped me quickly with a smile on his face. Thanks Greg I'll definitely be back!

Standard store with a lot of options and good deals. Ample parking lots. It has auto repair shop and parts. It feels congested with products. Most of time not crowded and you barely wait for cash especially if you use self check out. I recommend you watch for discount when buying items unless it's urgently needed.

Honestly this place is not that bad to be honest. The reason i gave it a 2 star is because they never have anything out on shelves. Now okay I get there’s a shortage but I don’t believe that’s the case as every other Canadian tire I go to have the shelves stocked up. Not to mention my dad and I were there and I seen a box of NEW stuff on the top shelves not opened. So I asked the worker if he could grab it. And he just replied “sorry we’re out there’s a shortage on supplies” then I pointed to the box on top and he replied “oh fine I get it then” and walked away. After waiting about 10 minutes I figured he wasn’t coming back. Walked over got a ladder and climbed up myself. To my surprise we finally got some customer service asking if they could of helped.

Purchased an AGM car battery from this store. The battery died few years later, but was still under warranty. Went to the store to replace it, but was told they did not have it in stock, and can't tell me when it will be available. I drove my vehicle there, after boosting the battery. So now, I was basically left with a vehicle on their parking lot, that had no battery. The thing is, no one even tried to offer a different battery to help. In fact, I was told to take the dead battery, and come back later, until I asked for the parts manager (who never came), but after that I was finally offered a different battery. It was extremely time consuming, as there was only one parts advisor (who was also eating). Paperwork alone took him 15 minutes. Plus another 20-30 minutes of me just standing around, waiting for help, then talking to the advisor. I had a lineup of people behind me as well that were unhappy. Staff your place accordingly. Once I received a temporary replacement battery, I was told THAT I WOULD BE CONTACTED when they receive a shipment of batteries. I NEVER got a call from that store, and had to keep calling checking myself. One month later, upon calling them to make another inquiry, I was told "there were few left in stock". Basically, hadn't I called, they would've been sold, and I would've had to wait even more. Absolutely the worst customer service. To top it all off, I went there two days ago to pick up my battery, and again, after spending there approximately 30 minutes, I was given the battery and my paperwork. As I was driving home, I received a phone call from the store, telling me they forgot to give me my warranty, and I needed to drive back to collect it. (like I haven't driven there enough and wasted enough time). I asked to check if it would be possible to just scan and email me the warranty, so I don't have to drive back and forth. I was told that the associate would call me back and give an answer right away... Well, that was two days ago....Will never be a customer there again.

Poor Poor Customer Service. They are quick to take your money and just as quick to try get you out of the store without exchange or refund on bicycles. Bought it 1 day ago, brought it back, unused and exactly how I got it as it’s too big for my daughter. This was a surprise gift for her. Don’t worry I’ll just save up for a few months again to buy her another bicycle for her birthday because money trees don’t exist as far as I know. Try explaining to a 7 year old that she’s not getting a bicycle. The lady proceeds to tell me on there tiny print on the paperwork that it says no exchanges on bicycles. The “manager” steps in to then basically tell me, sorry we can’t help. Well you guys can keep your business and forget me ever supporting you again! Worst experience.
