Please be careful when going to purchase water at this Canadian tire, as they feel the customer works there. you WILL have to move all the garbage palettes and stuff that they pile in front of the water facilities. This goes to show they don't want you to buy water at their place of business. They don't keep the area clean so that you can use it as a customer... I gave you a review on here. deal with it! don't tell me to call corporate office !!! clean your store for customer satisfaction...

This place has really really really improved in the last couple of months. They have some friendly, competent, available people in the tools and hardware area which is where I can normally be found. Something changed. They had one great guy before, but they've added a bunch more.

So far my experiences here were great. I come here quite a bit when I’m in the area and the staff are very nice. the car inventory (mainly where I browse) is very good and they normally have everything I need. I had 1 confusing experience last year but it didn’t effect me in a negative way and it was regarding a tire patching but aside from that, I like this location and will keep on coming here for what I need

Saturday past, my wife and I were at the store to purchase windshield fluid. The store had placed large gallons of the fluid at the entrance of the store before entering the metal gates. As we were looking at the details of the products, a manager with last name starting with letter ‘B’ approached and spoke to us in a rude and unprofessional manner. He accused us of blocking the entrance and tried to block our vision to view the windshield fluid details. He acted in a manner that made you feel unwelcome. This very brief exchange was very upsetting which prompted me to say that we rather shop elsewhere because of his rude and unprofessional attitude. His response was ‘that will be excellent’. We are astonished that owners of this franchise has hired persons who reject customers and who push customers to shop elsewhere. Our relationship with Dalton Drive Canadian Tire is historic and sad that it should come to such a junction. Customers have ample options and owners need to know this and work hard to keep their customers. Thank you.

Yesterday I came to this Canadian Tire to get a specific item we needed at our hospital. The online inventory showed plenty in stock but there were none on the shelf. However when speaking with the two managers on site they made significant effort to find the inventory looking through the warehouse and store and I was able to get what I came to the store for. All of the staff and managers I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Since problems can always happen it's how you deal with them that matters and this location seems to have an outstanding team!

Typically I make a point to write good reviews only, but I’m so frustrated with my experience at this store today that I feel compelled to share, in hopes that management will fix what’s broken. I’m not sure what’s going on there today, but my experience was unacceptable. I went for some patio lounge chairs that were in stock, according to the website (7 in store). I had considered buying them online but wanted to see them in person first. When I arrived, there were none on display and there was no one around to help me find them, so I waited in line in customer service for about 10 minutes, then asked the agent if someone could help me find them. She called and asked someone to bring 2 up front for me. (Lovely!) I then waited for about 15 more minutes and finally asked if I should go get them myself. She then called the back and was told they were in the warehouse, and there was too much stuff back there and they couldn’t access them. (Wonder how much longer I would have waited if I haven’t checked in…) So, I simply was not able to buy them. Not able to buy an item that was IN stock!! I told her that was very disappointing, and she said ‘yes, I know. You should buy them online.’ Are you kidding me? This is the store’s policy?? ‘We don’t have things out on the floor- we keep them in the back, but we can’t get it for you, so go back home and buy it online??’ Absolutely ridiculous. I will edit this review if someone reaches out to rectify this incident. For now, I will go the extra 10 minutes to Beacon Hill, as I’ve never encountered such an issue there. Disappointing :/

I’m never one to write a review. However, this needs to be known when coming to Canadian Tire for automotive service. The experience I had was so bad. The customer service was terrible. The automotive advisor was so rude and inconsiderate, possibly having the worst attitude i have ever dealt with. I work in the service industry so i know sometimes it can be hard, but it is one of the easiest things just to be decently nice. Also going forth with the work after i specifically asked if they could wait to get a second quote is overly unprofessional. And what was probably the worst aspect of this whole experience is the fact that my car arrived a day and a half before it was brought into the shop and the battery froze solid. So now, they charge me for an entirely new battery and to install it, when they left it outside for two days to freeze. There is no way I am bringing my service back here and I am telling everyone I know to steer clear. Find a better automotive representative.

I am writing 5 stars + review for Rob who works at Tools' station. Our bathtub faucet was broken and I didn't know how to start to fix it. I went to the closest store near my house. Rob is so experienced and knowledgeable. He helped me to analyze the problems and find the tools first. Then he picked the right parts for me after I took off the inner parts using the tools. I did install the new parts but they still leak. I went to the store again to ask for help. Rob analyzed the reasons and told me how to install them properly. Finally, I did it! I fixed the problems that kept dropping me crazy for a few weeks. It's truly appreciated. I could not fix the issues so quickly and easily without his help and experience!
