Store is increasingly claustrophobic with inventory jammed everywhere and more goods behind cages, even for low priced items. Good luck finding staff to open cages in timely basis. Better to go to other locations

Canadian Tire is good if you know what you want, you know where it is located and it is in stock; that leads to a five star experience. Only thing is that most of us could use guidance on where to find certain products or which products are better than others. This is where many Canadian Tires fall short; hard to find help from any staff members and only about half of them are polite and willing to take the step to help out

This is the worst experience of my life. I took the car for tire change. I left the car in the shop at 9am in the morning. I was told it will take 4-5 hours to complete. I am in the store it’s 7pm, That is 10 hours and the car is still not done. The store closes at 8pm. I will never ever visit Canadian tire again especially this store location. I have got tire job done before from Canadian tire and they have been wonderful. It just seem like this store does not know how to operate. Better find a different store to get your car fixed and save your time.

This store deserves much less than one star... I bought online an exercise machine with a significant discount (more than $1000 due to boxing day). When I came to the store the next day after being told it was ready for pickup, the item was not prepared for pick up. After waiting for more than a half-hour, I learned they had sold my machine (either for the discount price to a friend or for a full price to someone else). I was offered a machine from the display!!! Yes, for the discount price... I left the store and went to the other location where I bought the same but brand-new (never-used) machine... When I returned home, an email arrived from CT at Young & Steels thanking me for the purchase, though I bought nothing from them, and telling me that I picked up the machine--which, according to them, I purchased at Young & Steels--at 1:56 pm today. I called the store at 5 pm for clarification, was promised the manager would call me back. No way: nothing happened, and the manager never returned my call... If you want to have the same experience, you know where to go.

I was at Canadian tire this morning and had the worst customer service experience. I just wish I took down this employee’s name to complain to the manager. But I was so shocked that I ended up just leaving the store with a bad taste in my mouth. I asked an employee if she could help me find a specific light bulb, showing her a screenshot of the item. To what she replied that it was right in front of me. She was practically yelling at me just for asking the question. I asked her why she felt that she needed to raise her voice? And she said that she wanted to make sure she didn’t need to repeat herself. I understand people go through different personal struggles but she should have still kept it professional. This is not the first time I’ve have bad customer service at this location. They need to do proper screening before hiring their staff.

I was looking for a kids bike for my son and it showed 2 in stock at this store.Β  I approached the first sales associate at the bike section and asked for assistance, he told me is sold out when I showed him the picture.Β  I asked him again and told him it shows two in stock at this location on the Canadian Tire app on my phone. The associate didn't even bother to double check or look for the bike. He just told me to look for the bike myself on the ceiling of the store.Β  Apparently all of their kids bikes are hung up on the ceiling to save space.Β  I find this kind of customer service is unacceptable because he didn't even bother to help or try to sell me something similar. I think I should just go back to shopping online if I was going to look for everything myself.Β  Why shop at a store and get lazy answers to your questions.Β  The associates working there just don't want to help and just stand around yapping to other coworkers.Β  The second sales associate that I asked was nice enough to help me get an orange bike for me to look at.Β  He was very nice and helpful. Hope this store hires more helpful associates in the future.

Just visited Canadian Tire located in Yonge&Steele, 10 minutes before its closing time. β€œJack” at the sports section delightfully assisted me with purchasing a new pair of skates. Very kind, very helpful, and thoughtful. I just wanted to say thank you to Jack. Feb. 11. 2022. If any Canadian Tire team reading this comment, please compliment Jack (young tall gentleman). Jack, thank you so much again! You made our day!

So they cancelled a part of my online order, even though that part of the order is the only reason why I picked this particular Canadian Tire. If they were more diligent about updating their stock information, I wouldn’t have come all the way to this location. Also, I couldn’t believe they are even allowed to give products in this state (Photo) for online orders. I had to return it on the spot. At least, the staff were friendly and fast.
