Good downtown full service store but no automotive service department. It can be difficult to find customer service they prefer to restock shelves instead of answering questions. Be persistent and than they will help you with varying degrees of cheerfulness.

I went directly to customer service to get help finding a face shield for my partner's exam. I was greeted coldly and told that they do not sell the product. I informed them that I saw it online before I made my way here. Then I was told to find on my phone and show it to employee saving them from making any effort. Then I was sent to the wrong location. Thankfully the employee downstairs was kind and helped me look for the face shield. I gave two stars only because the other employee was kind. I was on a time crunch and I did not feel welcomed. I'm glad I do not have to shop here again and have that experience more than once.

Worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Bought a vacuum cleaner today which was on sale. Went to cash register and they asked me to pay the regular price. It was a big sign on it and says 50% off. So they brought to sign and said it ended last week! Called the manager and she didn’t even care then she literally ran away. They didn’t match the price at the end of the day. I wish good luck to everyone who works there. Their managers are the worst.

Tips for picking up oversized items. Yes they do have a loading dock, no its not the easiest to find. But the staff is super helpful and accommodating. Go underground mid block on bay st. Look for waton center delivery. Talk to the security guard and say your doing a customer pick up from the canadiantire loading dock. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp. Drive the long winding path. Eventually you'll see loading docks. Down on the lefthand side is the big welcoming canadiantire sign. Don't worry you can do it

Was getting a price adjustment for a product that I had bought 2 days earlier, that had just gone on sale. I went in to get the adjustment refunded. I had made my purchase with a combination of prepaid visa cards as well as my own credit card (the bulk of the purchase). The customer service rep refused to refund it to my credit card and said the money had to go back to the respective gift cards (even after telling them that each card originally had a $50 balance). I've also had refunds issued at other locations to different cards as needed. I get if it was a security protocol, but I did have the card that was on the receipt as well, the rep refused to issue the refund to it for whatever reason though. Because of this, they ended up refunding the balance to a prepaid visa gift card, which resulted in the card to no longer work all together (refund was larger than the original balance and if the rep's concern of needing to issue back to the payment sources, why didn't he split up the amount into the respective prepaid cards?). Contacted the prepaid visa company who saw the attempted refund, but due to the refunded balance being higher than the original value of the card, caused the money to not go through. Been going back and forth with them for over a month trying to resolve this issue, but this could have all been avoided had the customer service rep not dismissed my concerns with refunding to those cards (again, I paid the bulk of the purchase with a regular credit card as well and have had other CT/Atmosphere locations refund to credit cards that weren't even on the receipts in the past). I'm now basically out close to $100 which could have been easily avoided... That was probably the worst experience I've had, not to mention most of the staff here are very unhelpful/not friendly. When trying to request assistance, most don't know where any of the products are or dismiss any requests to help grab things from upper shelves.

Lots of merchandise. But very poorly organized. Staff are not very friendly. Some items are way up on the aisle. So difficult to find what you are looking for. Most of the customer reps at the returns are not very knowledgeable, hence, it is very difficult here to process the returns.

Good amount of stuff for good prices, but for some reason a lot of corridors are completely blocked by pallets and products. Couldn't even access the toy aisle, and I planned on getting water balloons and water guns for my children. Impossible to do here.

A decent place to go for anything you might need for household or sporting goods. However, if you are not familiar with the store, then it is very challenging to find certain items. My advice if you don't see something or know where it is, then ask an employee for help or use one of the kiosks to search for an item. The sporting goods section is probably the best organized, and there is also a skate sharpening service that is very affordable.
