Response to the owner: I did call customer support and chat about my experience. I was disappointed to be told by the agent that walmart.ca is excluded "because nowadays they ship from overseas like China or US". She also said even walmart stores won't price match their online price. This is simply a lie based on my experience. In fact, I've never had any issue asking Walmart store to match their online prices. The item I originally requested price match can arrive in 4 days according to the Walmart website. In summary, even the corporate customer service finds all kinds of random excuses to make exclusions which aren't included anywhere in the official policy is unacceptable to me. Original: I rated one star only because of the questionable price match policy here to raise a bit of awareness for other customers. I was refused to price match with an exact and online only item on Walmart.ca. The official Canadian Tire policy clearly states that online retailers with URL ending with ".ca" are treated as local competitors and can be price matched. They seem to simply make random exclusion rules not stated anywhere on the official price match policies.

Bought one pack of Christmas lights on Dec 16 and not all of it were working properly. I went to return them on Dec 20, 2021 and was told I CANNOT return as All Christmas items are final sale and all returns ended on Dec 18. I asked for an exchange and was refused also. The store manager said it is their store policy. . I never had issues at other stores such as Walmart or Home Depot. Buyer beware. This location makes items to be returned very difficult. I will never shop there again.

Always a great experience here. The staff are helpful, available, and knowledgeable. Big shout out to Patricia, who helped us buy a bbq! She was a pleasure to deal with!

I was needing new tires and I want the rims too. Hafez was really good. the best service I ever have in this store. helpful, fast, polite and giving the right information. Very good customer service. A 10!!

Gave a 1 star just because the people were nice, but CLEARLY! Did not know what they were doing! Went in a few days ago to get a wheel rotation and tire balancing, noticed it still drove weird so I squeezed time in with our trusted mechanic to just check the tires again and my wheels were NOT balanced as two tires were at 4.6! So he had to balance them all and now my car drives perfectly! Waste of my time and my money at canadian tire

The store is usually very well stocked and staff are helpful. There is just this one experience which makes me wonder if I would ever get another bicycle from Canadian Tire. Bought an mid price range adult bike in 2020 just after the pandemic lockdown in March/April. I didn't get a chance to really ride it until the return period ended and found out the gears had issues. I spent hours to fix it myself and couldn't get it fixed. I thought some of the parts were defective and they could replace them. I brought it back to the store and asked them to repair under warranty. They took the bike and called me about two weeks later to pick it up. I took the bike and tried it to the parking lot, and was experiencing the same issues. I immediately returned it to the store and asked what exactly did they repair. The associate told me they couldn't tell because they had a contract bike builder coming to the store once or twice a week. But the note said that the issues were addressed. I told the associate to try my bike and he agreed that there are still problems. So he took it back and opened another repair ticket. They called me a week later. Same thing, I picked it up, tried it in the parking lot, same issues. I questioned them again. But same as before, they didn't know what was repaired. They only had a note from the bike builder that said the issues were addressed. This went on for about 4-5 times. Basically I didn't have the bike for the entire summer. I finally had enough and asked for either a refund or credit so I can get a different bike. I didn't want this "repair" to go on for another 20 times and run out of warranty. After spending over an hour talking to 5-6 different staff, the manager finally agreed to give me credit for the price I paid for the bike and I could pick another bike from the store and paid for the difference. I don't want to blame the staff there. After all, they all tried to help, and they just followed their protocols. But it makes me wonder if buying bikes from Canadian Tire is a good idea as customer service specific to bicycles is almost non-existent. At least if you go to Sportchek, they have a bike shop.

I seem to be ordering more product from this store than the one closest to me in the west end. Why? This store always seems to have what I need! This time something simple like a common vehicle cabin filter. I used curb service for pickup which is located behind the service shop. The staff person had my order into the back of my car in 5 minutes. Heck if I had gone into the store it would have taken me longer. 5 stars for this service but as I’ve not gone into the store, I can’t give an overall 5.

Great store, handy location off the Henday. Staff are very helpful, I went in looking for Alien Tape, they knew exactly what I was talking about and showed me right where it was. It was on for a great price too. I thought it was awesome they had the Alien Tape in fffffstock at the store and I didn’t have to order it online! They had everything I was looking for and more! The selection of items they have is great.
