★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Snowshoes took us to the top of Fat Dog Trail. Keep right at all 3 of the signed forks. 15km round trip trek for about 750 metres elevation. Fat dog is for Snowshoe hike or back country ski. Cambie loop is epic cross country.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be aware that this area isn't trackset for cross country skiing, and is a snowshoe primary trail. You best bet for trackset xc skiing in the area is the Manning Park Resort area, but there may not be much in 2022 due to construction. The Cambie Creek/Fat Dog parking lot doesn't open until at least December, but there is parking space at the gate until then.
