★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for lunch. Didn’t do the hike and see the pretty flowers but the view was worth is all the same.
It was quite busy with backcountry campers and hikers. At its peak time in the afternoon you may have to wait for parking.
Haha also, you may get in-and-out signal depending on your provider so for all you IG diehards, post away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing views, but the road may be quite bumpy at times. i'd say the drive is worth it for the views! up there might be kind of chilly so i'd also recommend bringing a sweater, as it was in the middle of summer when we went, but the temperatures went to below 10°C! also saw some amazing birds :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of many beautiful areas in Manning Park. The flowers are beautiful and there are lots of cute little chipmunks scurrying around. Come prepared to pack out all your trash (yes all of it). Leave no trace and take nothing with you to best enjoy this area for future years. There's a short loop hike or longer (and very long hikes). The top parking area has pit toilets. Bring your own hand sanitizer. If you hit the longer trails, bring your own toilet paper for the pit toilets there (didn't seem to keep them stocked).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scenery is amazing. Left Vancouver Friday after work and camped at trailhead. Hiked a couple of hours on Saturday and camped at kicking horse camp ground.
One could believe you are in the middle of "Sound of Music".
One of the nicest trails I have done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an awesome time at the local flora guided tour. Wasn’t to sure about it first but it was really informative, Manning park offer so many thing in in this way I had to check it out and was glad, the hike wasn’t hard at all, more of a walk and took you to spots that have great view points. Great spot to take the kids to break up camping.
