Beautiful and so peaceful. Especially in October great for pictures. A lot of chances see deer, bears few skunks. Holly cross mountain is great! Good hike to the cabin but it's worth it. I get to go all the time I live close to the Skagit valley.

I was working with invasive species in a large burn area in the park. The burn affected parts of the Silver Skagit and Centennial trails. This is a tremendously beautiful area; even after a significant wild fire. There are often a lot of bugs; but they do not distract much from the experience.

Great park, good drive and some awesome views! I would definitely recommend going to check it out if you have the time and a good spare tire! The stop at silver lake along the way is also pretty amazing!!

Went fishing on the lower skagit with a friend for the first time this year. Amazing trip, unfortunately the day camping area was closed but we still had easy access from the road to the water and camped on the river bank the two nights and three days we stayed! Only got into small bows but lots of fun and a beautiful place to escape!

By far one of my favourite parks! The pictures attached are up Silverdaisy mountain. It has been one of my favourite hikes so far. The trail is in pretty rough shape in some spots, but it adds to the challenge and charm. The rest of the park is also really beautiful and it seems exploring the whole park would take a really long time, but I would recommend visiting it. There is a bit of everything there that would be good for a lot of different people. There is a lot of interesting historical information here and there are rhododendron patches which is quite rare for them to grow naturally in the wild. Did I mention the park is beautiful? If you go make sure you are aware of bears and bring bug spray. There is also no cell reception here, so come prepared and be aware of that in order to ensure your safety. The mosquitos and wasps are the biggest negative to this wonderful park. As long as you let people know where you are going and are prepared with enough food and water so that you can take advantage of all the exploring and different activities the park has to offer.

Epic place, deer, moose, wolves, cougars all potential campsite and river visitors. Wild strawberries grow on the side of the road, and fishing the river is the most fun you’ll have

The park is absolutely beautiful and Ross Lake is clean and refreshing. The campground at Ross lake is well kept, park operators are hard to find. I did enjoy speaking to the American and Canadian park rangers and they had great activities for kids. It seems like a party campground as it’s 60km down a gravel road. Also the mosquitos were horrible, you can’t stay outside without bug spray and in the sun or else you will be eaten alive. We left a day early because the bugs were so bad even with heavy spray.
