I was the only driver and can assure you, THERE WAS NO DAMAGE. So now I'm paying over $750 in damages that aren't mine and no way to dispute it. It's a scam.

They refused to give me a car for being under age, while my reservation receipt already included for the underage charge of about 45.00 for 3 days. Also if your policy doesn't include renting a vehicle to a G2 then your website must reflect it while making the reservation, asking the class of licence. I know that some rental agency doesn't rent out an SUV for an underage but i reserved a midsize. This is ridiculous. I had to take a last minute deal on a different rental agency and paid $200.00 for barely 450 kms for an SUV for 3 days. F	Frank Huck on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY! 1. Had booked a minivan thru priceline. No minivan was available when I arrived. The substitute SUV was inadequate for the number of passengers, baggage and wheelchair. Had to return to the airport 5 hours later for the minivan. 2. The minivan 's tires were bald and unsafe to drive. It should never have been rented out in that condition. 3. Budget was the only rental agency in the airport that charged a fee to have a spouse as an additional driver. This fee was waived for the inconvenience of not having the minivan available. This franchisee is unsafe, negligent and unethical.

Last trip I left my prescription Oakley sunglass in the rental and for sure I thought they would have been gone. However called them and they had said they were found and had then waiting, they were sent back to me and I was so grateful for that ? Thanks guys, really appreciate the service, will always rent from them when I'm in town
B	Brenda Abokhai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst experience ever in my life. I feel like I was scammed just to get a sale off me. It was late in the night when I booked a reservation. The was a huge line for cab service as so I asked the person making the reservation if they will drop me off once I return the car tomorrow as this is a service enterprise usually offers. They person indicated they can. Mind you, I would have NEVER reserved with them if they did not because it would not make sense for me to pay for a rental, drop off at the airport the next day and pay for a cab the next day. I arrive the next day only to be told they do not offer such a thing. So I had to pay the ridiculous amount for the rental plus pay for a cab back to the school. If there was a thing called zero stars, that's what they would have. Beware!!!
R	Ryan Marble on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Total scam artists. I should've read these reviews beforehand (the fact they have a 1.9 rating says a lot). I called Budget at Thunder Bay Airport two weeks ago to ask about snow tires, so I could book a car for a family member arriving at the airport a few weeks later. I spoke to Art who told me he would put a note about snow tires. He NEVER mentioned that there was an extra charge for this of about $20/day. My sister-in-law picked up the car and upon dropping it off they more than doubled the price (it was supposed to be $88 and they charged $222). I spoke to Art who told me he remembers telling me about the charge on the phone (he definitely did not) and that it's my sister-in-laws fault for signing the document when she picked it up. I then called another number to complain and they also blamed us. Very disappointing, will certainly not be back. This is my first negative review of any company so that says a lot about my level of frustration with Budget.

As it was late at night, and minus 20 degrees, I did not check it myself at that time, but did see it the following morning. When I returned the car, I was told there was NOT any previous damage to the bumper, and they wanted me to pay for this damage. VERY unimpressed! If you rent from this location, BE SURE TO CHECK THE CAR CAREFULLY!!! Update: after trying to escalate this issue to the parent company, I was given the run around, but no actual help. In the end, they billed my visa $1800! I will never use Budget again, and will spread the word about the deplorable practice at this particular location!
K	Karen Espinosa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not rent a car from this place!! My husband rented a vehicle from them after he couldn't get a flight to Sudbury. He was told he could drop it off at the airport in Sudbury where he was storing his vehicle. They rented him a mini van with bald tires and a broken windshield wiper in the winter!! When he arrived in Sudbury the next day to drop off the rental the Budget office at the airport was closed. He phoned the telephone number on his agreement and they told him he would have to drive into Sudbury, drop the vehicle off at another location and find his way back to the airport. Then they hung up on him. When he tried to call them back, they hung up on him again! Needless to say, we will never rent from this agency again and are telling all of our friends and family not to as well! Terrible customer service!!!! Not even worth 1 star!
