Wonderful buildings with great amenities are one thing, but it's the staff of Brightwater that really make the place home. I watched a member of the cleaning staff asking a resident how their birthday was. They spoke as if they'd been neighbours for years! Well done, and keep up the great work.

My mother-in-law struggles with a form of dementia that affects her balance; unfortunately, last summer she fell twice and broke her wrist and femur which challenged us to find support for her to live independently with her husband. Thankfully, we found Brightwater. The suites are huge, bright, beautiful and private and the staff is dedicated to getting know each resident on a personal level. When you're there, you feel like you're in an all-inclusive. The chefs prepare amazing meals daily and even allow for the families and friends to join in. They provide daily activities, have their own movie theatre, and even take the residents out on excursions to various restaurants and shopping malls. I constantly joke that if the company were to open up a facility like this for people 30 - 75, I would move-in in a heartbeat. If you have the opportunity to meet with the director Kim, you're in for a treat. She is a bright and empathetic individual and has created a very caring atmosphere for residents and guests alike. Her team is of the highest caliber, whether on the medical or hospitality team. I honestly can't sing their praises enough.

I have visited Brightwater and know it to be friendly and welcoming. When I first entered it was like I walked into my own home. Very cozy. Having dealt with Ekeen has been a delight. She cares for everyone that walks in and out of Brightwater’s doors. I would recommend you give them an opportunity to be your loved ones new β€˜home’.

At Brightwater, you can see the care and compassion the staff provide each and everyday. Aging in place with 24 hour charge nurses and health care aides truly sets this community apart from any other. Senior living done right!

This place is amazing. The suites are bright and spacious and the staff are great. They all work hard and care about the residents. The Executive Director told me that she would treat my Mom the way she would want her own Mom to be treated. She absolutely does treat my Mom with genuine care and concern. My Mom is always saying that the entire staff is great and hard working. The recreation person makes sure that my Mom gets involved in exercise class, outings and whatever else is happening at Brightwater. They even have a doctors office right in the building which has been a great help. My Mom is safe, comfortable and happy which makes me happy. I would completely recommend Brightwater Senior Living to anyone.

Staff at this facility are very caring and seem to be very happy with their duties as they carry them out. I visit my mother several times a week and always find she is well taken care of. A previous reviewer has said my mother was locked outside and not let in by staff? There is a buzzer on the door to summon the staff, please feel free to use it. She also stated that my mother was not helped carrying a shopping bag to her room. My mother has a walker that she uses that allows her to transport packages herself and prefers to do so. This person is not a designated care giver for our mother, did not make an appointment to visit, broke Brightwater and COVID rules by entering her suite and wandering around the facility without a vaccination certificate, endangering everyone. I am one of two designated caregivers for our mother and it is my opinion that she is receiving only the best of care at Brightwater. Thanks to all the staff who have to deal with not only the Dementia and Alzheimer’s of there guests, but there families too.

Very disappointed with the visit I recently had with my mother. Booked an outdoor visit. When waiting to get back into the locked unit from the courtyard, no staff were available to let us in. Apparently they have no regard for residents safety. Expected my mother to carry a very heavy bag back to her room while walking with her walker. No staff available to help her. Then got accused by the executive director that my sister and I did not follow Covid protocol when checking in. We both went through all steps including temperature etc. Sent an e-mail back to Executive Director who I still have not heard back from. Very disorganized, shortage of staff and lack of compassion. We know there is a buzzer outside which we used. We finally were let in. I never thought that a company who is supposed to care for the elderly support tearing families apart. Myself, my sister and all of our children and grandchildren have not been able to visit or contact my mother for 6 months due to the Powers of Attorney and their abuse of power. My mother has next to no visitors. This has nothing to do with COVID either.

My review dates back to March to November 2021. My father ended up in the hospital Feb '21 and was told he couldn't return to independent living in his little apt., so the family started to research retirement homes with support. We met Brightwater management and got a really great feeling about him living there. The experience for him and my family well exceeded expectations. It quickly turned into "his new home"! The staff are sooooo thoughtful, loving, friendly..... Now for the management.....so professional and they make you "the family" feel as important as your family member living there. I am not a person that leaves ratings but felt a need to. If there's something you want to discuss with management, they get back to you quickly which makes you feel important and your family member is cared for. Last but not least, to the future resident.....sign up for activities and meet new friends, my Dad had a blast playing Bingo!! from the family of RK
