I really love the stuff working there her Name is Lilly. I bought a gold chain and she put it in Michael Hill boxes and i got home I opened the box and there was nothing inside and I called them and i was so mad I told her that am the guy who just bought the gold chain from you and now there’s nothing in the box she answered me so respectfully and she said we certainly put it in the box check it again and I checked the box and I figured out I opened the box upside down. I really recommend shopping this store also highly recommend you guys to not open the boxes upside down. Cheers

I just had the worst customer service experience at the Michael Hill Outlet Collection location. I had purchased 3 different items for X'mas presents from this store (in Nov and Dec) and had to return one of them because my daughter noticed a small dent on the side of the hoop earrings when she opened her gift on X'mas day. I was so surprised when the staff said that they could not refund my money today (Dec 29) because it is the busy X'mas season and I said that X'mas and boxing day is over so that doesn't make sense to me and there was no line up of people that they had to take care of in the store. The staff proceeded to tell me that I could buy a care package (warranty) and then maybe get an exchange. They made it seem like my daughter had damaged the earrings and I told them that she saw the dent as soon as she opened the gift and did not even put them on. The one gentlemen and Asian staff recognized me as a regular customer from weeks ago and seemed sympathetic but the one lady with blond highlights told me that she is just following the rules and they can't do refund after X'mas because it's new rule??? I wanted to talk to a manager (who they called) and on the phone Hazel apologized for the behavior of her staff and explained that they system was down and that's why she could not give me a full refund today and that I should come back when she is there next week (again I still don't understand this system). So, I left the store without my refund (I don't even want t go back there next week or step foot into the store again) and to top things off the blond highlight hair lady said that she knows "better" than the manager and facetiously said to me "have a nice day" as I walked out the store which is so insincere and rude. Both my girls and I just feel terrible. I am going back to online shopping, it's way easier, faster and refunds never seem to be an issue, no wonder retailers are struggling with poorly trained staff who lack of customer care and service, expensive overhead, poor sales and as a result don't like to offer refunds even when they have a defective product.

Very good and patient staff. The diamond had fallen out of my engagement ring, and it took a bit of pushing but they replaced it, and it looks better than before! Hazel is awesome and explained everything about the ring and warranty very well after I picked it up.

I highly recommend them. I went to the Michael hill outlet to look at rings. I didn’t have enough knowledge about diamond. The staff were very professional and patient. Lilly took so much of her time to educate me about diamond which I didn’t find this serves in other jewelry stores that I’ve been. I am very satisfied with the service she provided. I really encourage you to go and ask for her as she is very helpful.

Went down to the store to buy earrings and a diamond necklace for my girlfriend but was completely ignored by the staff. We were fully ready to buy. There was literally no one else in the store shopping but the clerk was too busy flirting with the security guard. We stood there for 10 mins even making eye contact with the clerk but she just continued to carry what sounded like a completely useless conversation with the guard.

My husband bought a ring from Michael Hill in Calgary in Dec and one of dimamonds fell off by accident. I was so stressful and visited Michael Hill Outlet location. The manager Hazel she was so professional and patcient to explain michael hill polocy and told me there was no need to be stressful, she will handle this issue even this ring was not purchase in this location. All of sudden I relieved. Instead of fix the ring, she exchanged with competely new one when she heard our anniversary was January 9 cuz she didnt want me celebrate our anniversary without this beautiful ring. I had excellent customer service in the store. She took care of my feeling and understood me. It was first time we bought from Michael Hill and I would love to come back again cuz I really impressed with the service.

100% don’t buy their China Jewelry, Literally China metals!! They were told what metals I’m allergic too their sales still went ahead and recommended an allergic ring now I’m stuck with 500$ ring I can’t wear, and Jing (Jane) store manger is just so rude, now I know not to spend thousands there 10/10 don’t recommend

If I could I would give this place 0 stars. I did not have my husbands wedding ring in time for our wedding. This is a moment I can never get back. When I purchased the ring the lady had said it would take 6 to 8 weeks where I told her our wedding was in 7. She said oh ok I will make sure the supplier knows. Once I paid I saw the completion date said a month after our wedding date. I asked her again she said oh no it will be in time. Sure enough it came close to the date of the receipt. All this place cares about is your money they don’t care about you. I can never get that day back. Thanks for nothing Michael hill.
