Think twice before buying at this store. The aftersales service is horrible, they don't stand by their defective merchandise, you will be stuck with it. We purchased a Samsung electric range about a year ago and within the year I performed a 3hr self clean cycle, to my surprise when I wiped down the interior cavity entire pieces of enamel chipped off. We were told that the warranty does not cover this as it is considered cosmetic. Every time we wipe down the interior of the stove the rag has tiny metal particles. How is this is cosmetic? There is no way for them to guarantee that these tiny particles don't end the food, especially when using the convect feature. We have made multiple attempts at getting an exchange or refund, all of our efforts have been ignored. When we told them it is not purely cosmetic and that we can no longer use the stove as originally intended they abruptly ended negotiations by accusing us of using a lining inside the stove cavity therefore causing the damage. We did not use any type of lining inside the stove. We went through the Consumers Protection Bureau, we sent them a Formal Notice and now we are at the point of filing a claim through Small Claims Court. If you have time to waste then go ahead and take your chances. In reading other blogs we found that other people had the same issue with their self clean cycle, the more reputable vendors apologized and offered an exchange or refund despite the warranty. The ones who got stuck with their purchase bought at substandard retailers, I guess that's where we ended up.

I bought a dishwasher at a great price but the delivery was so offensive that I have to write this review. In the peak of the Omnicron Covid wave, the delivery team showed up and basically walked in the door with 2 of the 3 men not waring their masks. They completely ignored my request to stop and put on their masks, even as I raised my voice and asked multiple times. I would have physically had to push them out in order to stop them! Brault & Martineau, by using this team you are putting your customers at risk.

Horrible service!! We waited for 14 MONTHS for sofas, and the manager Tajander Dhillon was very rude, unprofessional, agressif. He told us “well too bad it’s your loss”. An official complaint has been filed agaisnt him.

TL;DR: Don't buy from here if you need delivery in an apartment without an elevator. DO NOT BUY FROM BRAULT AND MARTINEAU. BELIEVE THE PEOPLE WHO TOOK TIME TO WRITE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. IT'S NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE. We purchased a full set of appliances from B&M. Upon the date for delivery, the delivery men showed up, and before even entering our building to observe the situation, they told us "we will not be able to deliver your fridge". First they said it wouldn't fit in the front door, then they said it wouldn't fit up the stairs. Gave every excuse why it wouldn't fit, even though we removed a fridge of similar dimensions the day before. They left the fridge for us, we called another delivery company, within 15 mins, they had it delivered. When we contacted the company to tell them what happened and asked to be reimbursed the $300 we spent for their delivery men being lazy, they said no, you requested to have it left. Since the service was poor, we no longer trusted the confidence of the warranty plan we purchased for $900, we cancelled our plan to get it refunded. When we went to the store, we requested the refund, spoke with someone who processed it for us and then was told to go to customer service to get it refunded. After speaking with customer service, we asked to speak with the manager of the store... The guy who processed the refund when we came in was the manager. During our interaction with him, he didn't ask ANY questions, how he could resolve this, nothing. When we spoke to him, he even openly admitted that they have a problem with delivery men, and also said he hates to lose a customer than to lose money, but yet, did not offer the $300 I requested to cover the delivery and instead lost $900??? DO NOT BUY FROM BRAULT AND MARTINEAU. BELIEVE THE PEOPLE WHO TOOK TIME TO WRITE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. IT'S NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE.

So I see I'm not the only one experiencing no delivery satisfaction. Professionnals should be able to find solutions, like expert movers do. But I guess the delivery company finds any excuse not to make an effort. The guys inspected both entrances and concluded that the couch wouldn't fit through the set of steps: fine. Try the back then. No? Won't use outside steps because they turn? Ok, get me my money back then. At the store they say sorry, can't refund until the truck comes back with the merchandise we block the billing. Oof, the efficiency! Can I at least not have to come back in the store to get my refund and instead do it electronically? No mam, we have to inconvenience you yet again. That'll show me to try to get them on the phone or online all week before the delivery to see if it can be cancelled. Forget it, they have no one answering calls or chats. No one. So all I could do is wait for the delivery guys, and well, see: no easy solution. I guess I'll just take my business elsewhere then.

Very dissatisfied with my experience... I went and purchased a sleeper sofa and paid for it in full on the spot and got a confirmed delivery date. Also bought for an extra $99 a stain prevention treatment to protect the fabric...On delivery, I receive a ripped box with a sofa which is definitely not new. Upon reaching out to customer service and sending photos of obvious signs of use on the "new " furniture, I was sent a replacement sofa a week later. In the meantime, my stain prevention treatment, originally scheduled a couple of days after the original delivery was postponed since the sofa was going to be exchanged....I received my replacement sofa which was indeed new this time around, but could not get the stain prevention treatment rescheduled til 2 weeks after I received the replacement.

Recently bought a dishwasher and it came damaged. The plastic water inlet valve is clearly not new. Pretty sure they sold us a used one. Tried to call the after service number no one answered, tried to call the seller he didn't answer (obviously) and tried to call directly Brault et Martineau no one answered. Seriously, what is this awfull after sales service !!! If you can avoid buying from them do so. You'll save yourself some trouble.

You need to be very careful and to have a plenty of time to spend there. But if you are looking for stylish home furniture then you better to not bother yourself to visit. Based on my experience, if you spend 2 hours there then you can hunt something valuable quality/price manner
