Salesman are quick to sell and very helpful but are lacking after the sale to do customer service. I think their commissioned on sale only.

Ordered a washing machine. It arrived broken. Still trying to schedule a new delivery time many days later. No communication from the store. Difficult to get in touch with after sales and delivery service. Don't recommend shopping here.

I have purchased from them for years spent a lot appliances, furniture, etc. I have not had a bad experience with them, with the extended warranty it’s not Brault it’s the holder of the policy, and my only bad experience with them, they wouldn’t send someone from the extended warranty but I told the girl I paid for it so send someone and they did. I bought a washer for my daughter was broke on delivery, took a couple of weeks but they changed it. My experience has been great. Brault should ensure that their people who look after service provide the best and address issue, so far after sale service has been great for me but you need to argue, but they usually come thought. Sorry for all that had a bad experience.

UPDATE (11/08): After finding out it will be delayed to April 2022 (we found out ourselves, we weren’t told) we switched to a comparable fridge and dishwasher that they had in stock and we are getting delivered this week. No compensation or apologies were offered because of this whole debacle. Was hoping for some sort of redemption to acknowledge or take some responsibility for what happened but nothing. Ultimately, disappointed in the customer service, the lack of communication or even the willingness to find a comparable product. I’m very happy to be done with them and will be going elsewhere moving forward. The actual sale experience went smooth. (There’s never issue when it comes to taking the money.) The issues started after the sale. We scheduled our delivery for a fridge, stove, dishwasher and range hood for the end of August. To me, when a delivery date is set, we will be getting our stuff that day. Who would promise a delivery date knowing there’s no items in stock, right? At the time, we had a fridge that was working perfectly fine but because we were promised a delivery for end of August, we figured we would have it removed and disposed in anticipation of the new fridge. (Weren’t living there yet) 5 days prior to the expected delivery, we get a call saying the fridge and dishwasher have been delayed. (We got the stove and range hood). Awesome. Now we have no fridge to store food. As of this review (Oct 4) we still don’t have a delivery date set for the rest of our items. Moral of the story: don’t expect them to have stock of what you ordered until you have it physically in your house. We’re lucky we have friends who could loan us a mini fridge temporarily but if we didn’t, we would be SOL for over a month. I understand the pandemic is delaying everything but the salesman didn’t even have the courtesy to tell us there’s a risk of delay when we made the sale. We would have had no problem waiting for it to come in but we disposed of a perfectly good fridge because our salesman was dishonest. Turns out a delivery date at time of sale does not guarantee delivery at that time. Very disappointing, especially since the salesman does not respond to calls about half the time, meaning we have to drive 30 min to get any answers. Would not recommend.

Avoid this store at all cost. They have a real poor service. Ordered a bedroom set there and they kept on sending broken parts. It has been three times already. I called their store and customer and both do not what to deal with it. Keep on telling me that they will contact me with 24 hours but they never do. I still have broken delivered parts with no replacement. I am going to file a complaint to consumer protect bureau. So if you are trying to get furniture, do not buy here.

A sofa and a washer/dryer set were delivered to my house today. They were all left at the foot of my extremely long driveway, making them vulnerable to theft and making it extremely difficult for me to get them up to my house. The delivery people told me that my only options were to take them as is, or they will return the items to the store. When I called Brault & Martineau to complain, they told me it was an issue with the delivery company feeling unsafe using my driveway and that I had to deal directly with the delivery company. My driveway was completely plowed, sanded and salted. A much larger moving vehicle drove all the way up to my house just the day prior, and it has not snowed since. There is no reason why the delivery company could not bring it up, and I should not be forced to deal with the delivery company myself. I had to call multiple friends and family to move the items.
